Putin warns EU gas supplies could keep dwindling​

Putin has said it is the West’s own fault the flow of Russian natural gas to European Union customers has dwindled and warned that it could continue ebbing.

Speaking to Russian reporters in Tehran, Putin said the amount of gas pumped through the Nord Stream pipeline to Germany will fall further from 60 million to 30 million cubic meters a day, or about one-fifth of its capacity, if a turbine is not quickly replaced.

The Russian leader also warned the West that its plan to cap the prices of Russian oil as part of its sanctions over Ukraine will destabilise the global oil market and make prices soar.

“We are hearing some crazy ideas about restricting the volumes of Russian oil and capping the Russian oil price,” he said. “The result will be the same — a rise in prices. Prices will skyrocket.”

I hope Canada keeps holding onto those darn turbines since Gazprom still hasn’t obtained them yet lol.

Interview with the EU ambassador to China. Looks like EU has a death wish. The US should "help" them by provoking China over Taiwan, get China to reunify forcefully, and make Europe commit seppuku by sanctioning China.
How would the EU react to a possible attack by China on Taiwan?

The EU does not defend the independence of Taiwan, but the peaceful reunification. We believe that there should be only one China, but in the event of a military invasion we have made it very clear that the EU, with the US and its allies, will impose similar or even greater measures than those we have now taken against Russia.

At that point there would be absolutely nothing holding China back from unconditionally supporting Russia in a total war scenario., because that is what will happen if EU follows the US here. (Iran is already near that point too).
