Lieutenant General
We know this long time ago but now the people in the west realized that too

The world, Blair said, was at a turning point in history comparable with the end of World War Two or the collapse of the Soviet Union: but this time the West is clearly not in the ascendant.

"We are coming to the end of Western political and economic dominance," Blair said in a lecture entitled "After Ukraine, What Lessons Now for Western Leadership?" according to a text of the speech to a forum supporting the alliance between the United States and Europe at Ditchley Park west of London.

"The world is going to be at least bi-polar and possibly multi-polar," Blair said. "The biggest geo-political change of this century will come from China not Russia."

Remind me of this song little bit corny but heck;)

There is a theory that the Saudis opening their airspace for Israeli civilian carriers could be a prelude to Israeli jets using Saudi airspace to strike Iran. Israel can’t fly jets over Iraq since their relations is iffy but they could from the Saudis with the support of US refuelers. Not so long ago, they had an drill with US refuelers to simulate bombing Iran.
It's not even on the way to Iran - have you ever looked at a map of the region? The complexities of such an operation?

This theory reads like some Tom Clancy fiction.

There are some insane takes here..

Just like the West weaponizing the US dollar and Swift without consultation with the federal reserve? Or trying to cap Russian oil prices? Talking about the insanity of such a task while they have been nailing their own coffin for the last few months. Also. What about the map? The Gulf of Aqaba is open and there is US air bases in Saudi Arabia provide the necessary support.

Iran says it’s capable of building nuclear bomb

No decision to produce one, however, has been made, a senior Iranian official has said

Iran is technically capable of producing a nuclear bomb but no political decision on such an option has been made, Kamal Kharrazi, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has said.

“In a few days we were able to enrich uranium up to 60% and we can easily produce 90% enriched uranium,” Kharrazi told Al Jazeera on Sunday.

Iran has the technical means to produce a nuclear bomb but there has been no decision by Iran to build it.

If Middle East energy exports gets disrupted alongside a possibility of a Russia cutout. That would basically spell the end of the EU wouldn’t it? Lol.

A good interview between GT and German MPDagelen Yup the kneejerk support of Sanction against Russia will backfired badly ended up German prosperity Excerpt

GT: As the Ukraine crisis drags on, German citizens have to brace themselves for dramatically rising costs of gas. How do you see the fact that the interests of ordinary people are jeopardized by those behind the Ukraine crisis?
Dagdelen:
The economic war with Russia is jeopardizing Germany's entire prosperity model. The Western sanctions have not ended the war. Instead, they are acting like a boomerang. They are hitting us, the people and industry in Germany. After all, Russia's revenue from energy exports, despite falling sales and volumes, is higher than a year ago, thanks to the sanctions having driven up the prices. So, the price of these nonsensical sanctions is being paid by the general public who are suffering high inflation and exploding energy and food costs, while the oil corporations and arms companies are making profits.
Should gas deliveries from Russia cease, we will face a disaster in Germany such as we have not known since the global economic crisis during the Weimar Republic.

It has been calculated that in the event of stopping Russian gas deliveries, Germany's economic output would plummet by more than 12 percent in the subsequent six months. And more than 5.6 million jobs would be at risk. So, the German government must immediately end the suicidal economic war for the good of the people of Germany.
German economic output has become highly unreliable figure post covid. just to give you idea from trade surplus to trade deficit at EU level. the swing is about $500b at current rate and this is summer rate. Germany hide its imports at EU.
Practically all German auto makers have announced going forward they will only concentrate on Premium segment. so naturally they are expecting basic material shortages so why not just make fewer expensive vehicles. there are other examples where shortages are showing even in newer products. the point is there is no guarantee of any European complex engineering product going forward. so no one should rely on it thinking it will work for coming decades smoothly.

May 3, 2022
In one of the most tangible demonstrations of the how geopolitics, economics, and the pandemic have affected airlines, AirBaltic will operate a Boeing 737-900 owned and crewed by Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) this summer.

Making fewer cars by concentrating on the premium models may help the company's bottom line, but it will reduce employment and hurt the workers' bottom line. That means the state has to pick up the tab through payout of unemployment benefits, which hurts the citizens' bottom line. This kind of downward spiral is scary.

Western arms stockpiles won’t sustain prolonged war in Ukraine – Pentagon supplier

The industry needs a “clear signal” from governments on what to build and whether it will be bought, Northrop Grumman’s CEO says

The West doesn’t have the stockpiles of weapons needed to sustain a prolonged war in Ukraine or elsewhere, the CEO of one of the Pentagon’s main defense contractors has warned.

The military-industrial complex therefore needs a “clear demand signal” from Western governments on what exactly it should produce and whether it will be purchased, Kathy Warden told the Financial Times in an interview published on Sunday.

The most important thing now is to get a clear demand signal on what the sustained commitment is and the level of drawdown from those stockpiles is going to be,” she explained.

Existing weapon stockpiles were not designed for a prolonged conflict, Warden said. However, the West is not yet running out of arms for Ukraine.

While Northrop Grumman is ready to invest and even expand its factories “ahead of a contract,” the industry still needs more clarity about Washington’s plans to support Ukraine, Warden warned. The military-industrial complex needs to “get an indication that if we build it, the demand will come.”

Soon enough a $1 trillion US military budget will come especially due to inflation.
