I don't think that America is really interested in diplomacy anymore tbh. They are guided by ideological narrative which has led them to making assumptions about their power and primacy that is simply not there anymore.

Just look and read at their ambassador in China tweeting offensive a baseless accusation on alleged genocide as if it were facts, worst, the person couldn't even bother to spell check the very ethnic group they're so concerned about, not to mention the province in which they alleged the genocide has been taking place.

If Middle East energy exports gets disrupted alongside a possibility of a Russia cutout. That would basically spell the end of the EU wouldn’t it? Lol.
What is Iran waiting for? To be bombed like Iraq? They should assemble and test one ASAP.

BTW, Biden failed his ME mission miserably. The Biden regime wants to withdraw from ME and concentrate on China. They think that the best way to achieve this is to establish an Arab-Israel alliance and let Israel to manage the petty dictators in the ME.

China should demand the U.S. to recall Burns immediately. He has disqualified himself to be an ambassador to China completely.

There is no way China is the largest creditor to the developing world. It's a good thing that the WSJ does not have a large readership.

Your mistake is thinking that any of these things matter.

This is just a clash between the hegemon and the rising superpower. Tomorrow the hegemon could tell the world that 1+1=3 and would anyone dare to raise an objection?

You shouldn't pay attention to countries being right/wrong/fair/unfair/hypocrites etc. The only thing that matters is strength. If someone holds a knife in your neck and then tells you "1+1=3 is correct. Right?" would you agree with him or not?

I got the impression from some posts here saying that China needs quickly build up its nuclear stockpile before US starts a conflict in the straits, but I personally want to believe China already have 1k+ nukes and is just holding the true number as a wildcard or to have an excuse not to get invited to nuclear treaties talks.
I always thought that maybe those Korean nuclear test from some years ago where just the chinese testing some new designs of their own or shared designs. Because western press made it seems like the Koreans made some massive jumps in nuclear bombs development.
