Oh look, they changed the story.

First it was some developer leading access credentials in copied code, now it's a backdoor?
I have another theory that the "data leak" is just a combination of data from previous older leaks, which could explain why there's an user on that leak forum replying why some of the data is old.

While on the topic, I would like to take the opportunity to share my ideas. If any CPC government agent is reading through this forum right now, I have suggestion on how to improve the cybersecurity by mobilizing the entire population. Create an exploit/vulnerability bounty system that would financially reward citizens who would report leaks or demonstrate how they manage to penetrate the government server/database. But first, introduce the system through colleges and organizations to get the system tested and improved based on feedback and effectiveness.

This can also be expanded to corporations, by putting a fine companies with reported vulnerability or exploit with the amount based on the severity of the problem, and use the money from the fine as the reward for the individual that discovered it. This will dissuade companies from collecting more data than needed for their service, and create a bigger demand and wages for cybersecurity specialist and engineers.

The details about the recent rare earth element reserve discovery in Turkiye. Unlike China, Turkiye reports the weight of ore hence we see the number 694 million tonnes. Some Twitter accounts took the number as the weight of element content and claimed things like Turkiye now having 85% of all known reserves of the world. What Turkey found is not even the largest reserve, thus the said Twitter accounts were wrong. Nonetheless, it is a very significant reserve. The second largest ever discovered. Details:

Serves them right for investing.
Tbf cant blame Chinese companies for investing. India has no relevant companies of its own and the only other players are Apple and Samsung. Apple is unaffordable for 95% Indians so the huge Android market is up for grabs.
Now why let Samsung capture the market it with their mediocre devices ? . Samsung is the only relevant competitor for Chinese companies in Android globally. You weaken Samsung in India , you weaken it globally too.

But what makes this entire episode funny is how the pathetic Modi regime will happily shoot itself in the foot and render thousands of Indians jobless just to score some brownie points with its voterbase (trying to project itself as tough on China).

1. Recently they blocked Great Wall Motors from investing $1bn and purchasing a closed GM factory thereby preventing thousands of jobs to be created.

2. They shut down Tiktok and Bytedance which resulted in thousands of Indians losing heir jobs.

3. They've also blocked FDI from China. Like who says NO to free money?

If Xi was as petty as Modi , he would've initiated an unofficial export ban and crippled the entire Indian manufacturing industry in the process , but he wont as he isnt an idiot.

I see this argument thrown around a lot and I don't necessarily agree (fully) with it.

You are operating under the assumption that Xi and Modi have the same job. They don't. They have very different jobs. Xi's job (and by extension the CPC) is to Serve the People 为人民服务. Modi's job (and by extension the BJP) is to get reelected.

So far, both are performing their respective jobs very well.

In addition as india is trying to industrialise, it should be welcoming everyone to invest there in order to turbocharge its domestic devolepment.

Unfortunately (or fortunately..) great leader Modi somehow thinks that India is China which has already achieved industrialisation.

That's why I say that India is hopeless. With this mindset they aren't going to do anything.
Just compare India with Vietnam and you can see which one is smarter

I think the Chinese govt encourages firms to invest in India. Not least the potential of market that's over billion people but politically China likes to have friendly relations with India just like they want good relations with all their close neighbours. Especially nuclear powers. Doing more trade with them can build beneficial relationships, win win as they say.

They are of course not naive hence building up Pakistan as a counterweight but it would be very beneficial for China to not have India on the Western side as a tool to contain china's rise. Pity india leadership chooses to be idiot
