I don't know how Apple's Siri got a new "Lanka" added to its original name.

But if you are refering to Sri Lanka, then the country is currently in a very big trouble.

Effects caused by decades-long civil war, plus factors such as the serious corruption and nepotism within the government and among its leadership, improper and botched economic planning and execution, self-restricting their streams of income into just a few major sectors, COVID-19 and lack of tourists, among other key factors which lead to the economic woes and economic collapse of Sri Lanka we see today.

To be frank, not even China could help them. By now, the snowball has rolled too big for anyone to attempt stopping it with just bare hands.
Oh boy if this doesn’t end well they would be Siri Lanka very soon

In addition as india is trying to industrialise, it should be welcoming everyone to invest there in order to turbocharge its domestic devolepment.

Unfortunately (or fortunately..) great leader Modi somehow thinks that India is China which has already achieved industrialisation.

That's why I say that India is hopeless. With this mindset they aren't going to do anything.
Just compare India with Vietnam and you can see which one is smarter
I've talked about how every country has a PC culture that constraints leadership actions.

Indian PC is hostile to foreign investment. On the right they hate and fear Chinese foreign investment because it means devious chinis control mother India's blood and sweat. On the left they hate and fear western foreign investment as a reincarnation of the British Empire coming to loot India.

End result: it is PC to restrict foreign investment in all but the most lopsided deals, and then watch as the foreign investors get what they want anyways. Look at Flipkart and Walmart as an example.

Never knew that Medvedev was so based

Former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev invoked Wednesday the possibility of nuclear war if the International Criminal Court (ICC) moves to punish Moscow for alleged crimes in Ukraine.
"The idea to punish a country that has the largest nuclear arsenal is absurd in and of itself," Medvedev, a close ally of President Vladimir Putin, said on messaging app Telegram.
"And potentially creates a threat to the existence of mankind."

Medvedev, who was Putin's stand-in president between 2008 and 2012, is now deputy head of the Security Council.
Last month, he called those who "hate" Russia, "degenerates" and vowed to work to "make them disappear."

There is no hope with the company, especially when the CEO has no backbone to speak of. Even Jai Hinds have backbone.

that Europe's Airbus was in "close contact" with Chinese airlines about a deal for its A220 aircraft.
Global Times reported that Airbus was "seeking to further increase its footprint in the Chinese market." It said the planemaker held an event Monday to "promote the A220 for short-haul flights and vowing to tap the market potential in Western China."
Yang Xiaoyu, Airbus' head of flyable procurement in China and East Asia, told China Daily: "Among all Airbus aircraft models, the A220 boasts the highest number of Chinese elements." Yang said 15 Chinese suppliers "have been contributing to its manufacture, from providing raw materials and components to the assembly of big parts."
Seems like Airbus is going for another blockbuster deal
