Russia seems to be rapidly losing influence in Kazakhstan. Good counter though

Tokayev has been pretty good so far imo. Impressive skill in handling domestic politics
Yeah, that happens when you invade a neighboring country claiming they are a fake nation and their lands belong to Russia while making exactly the same claims about Kazakhstan.

To the other people talking shit about Tokaev, what are you actually proposing - just lay down and wait for annexation? Lol, I know there are many Russian fanboys over there but come on... btw, it was super easy for Russia to maintain their influence but I guess screaming that they will take North Kazakhstan, etc. was more important. China should say thanks to Russia I guess.

There could be Germanic angle in it. i dont see Kazakh state can survive it when its former elites have weaken it through corruption.
Putin by itself does not have much in in Germany even though he worked there.

Without Russian gas, all those new terminals would not be enough gas supplies for German. Beside, German isn't China that could build dozen of new terminals in a short period of time.

Import terminals: In Europe, plans for about 20 terminals have been announced or sped up since the Ukraine war began. Germany, which has no LNG terminals, has allocated about $3 billion to charter four floating ones and connect them to the country’s network. The first one is supposed to go online around the end of this year. Emphasizing the need for speed, Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck pointed out that Tesla Inc. managed to build a factory near Berlin in just two years, and said it’s time to cut through German red tape. “First, dig the trench where the pipe is to go in,” he said. “Then, the permit comes.” China, the world’s top LNG buyer last year, is in the midst of one of the largest buildouts the industry has ever witnessed. Ten new import terminals are slated to come online in 2023 alone, and capacity will roughly double in the five years through 2025, according to BloombergNEF.

Wow, such deep thought, she probably has PhDs in both economics and philosophy. The US is so lucky to have such a bright vice president - I mean "To get back to lower prices we have to acknowledge gas is high which is the opposite of low", she just single-handidly solved the global supply-demand problem. Damn, inflation is finished, it's over guys.
