Russia probably suffered fewer casualties in Ukraine on the 4th of July, even though Russia is at war...
I saw on the news ticker that the Ukrainian government spokesperson said Russian artillery killed 8 civilians in Slovyansk.
The next thing on the ticker was that Robert Crimo was arrested after killing 7 and injuring others.
So what was Russia using? Grad? 152mm shell? Crimo was using an AR-15?
Scary thought

Uh oh. Global Times exposed the latest pathetic begging by the US

The US is seeking help from China to ease its economic pressure, hinting that it may ease tariffs on Chinese goods and engage in dialogue with senior Chinese officials more often.
However, analysts said Beijing will approach Washington's overtures with caution, as it is still trying to use the tariffs as bargaining chips rather than sincerely correcting its mistakes that have harmed both sides.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chief of the Chinese side of the China-US comprehensive economic dialogue, held a conversation via video link with US Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen at the latter's request on Tuesday morning, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
Chinese analysts said on Tuesday that although its economy is in disarray, the US is still being provocative in geopolitical issues to contain China. This means the US should not expect China to provide significant support for it to solve its domestic problems
Lü Xiang, a research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told the Global Times on Tuesday that the US has been forced to engage with China because of its dreadful domestic economic situation.
"Joe Biden now is having a big headache as his approval rating is even lower than his predecessor Donald Trump at the same stage of presidency, which is a great humiliation. The pressure to win the midterms is heavy and serious, so he must find solutions to at least make some changes," Lü said.

Bundestag calls for launch of Nord Stream 2

Bundestag MP Ernst: Nord Stream 2 needs to be launched due to failure of sanctions.

Klaus Ernst, Chairman of the Bundestag Energy and Climate Protection Committee, in an interview

He called for starting negotiations on the launch of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to supply gas to Germany.
“If necessary, put Nord Stream 2 into operation for a limited time if gas supply cannot be otherwise guaranteed,” he said.

Also, according to the deputy, the governments of EU countries should review the energy sanctions against Russia as it did not bring the expected result.

“On the contrary, these measures are beneficial for Russia. It means that revenues from these sales are generally higher, although fewer sales are made,” said Ernst.
He added that the German government must ensure that energy prices are brought under control by increasing supply, including from Russia, because the citizens and the country’s economy are victims of a completely unsuccessful sanctions policy. Against this background, Ernst concluded that it was immoral to maintain sanctions.

Later, Economy Minister Robert Habek said that the option to launch Nord Stream 2 is not possible, as the gas pipeline does not have access and is under US sanctions.

The West has stepped up sanctions pressure on Moscow after the start of Russia’s special military operation to demilitarize and navy Ukraine. Many countries have announced the freeze of Russian assets, calls for Russia to stop energy have become even louder. These measures became a problem for the West itself – they led to an increase in inflation, food and fuel prices.

As President Vladimir Putin noted, the sanctions dealt a serious blow to the entire global economy. According to him, current events draw a line under the West’s global dominance in both politics and economy.
