Western arms supplied to Ukraine offered on darknet – RT investigation

RT’s journalists were able to swiftly agree the purchase of a US-made Phoenix Ghost kamikaze drone

The Ukrainian traders claim to offer not just small arms or body armor there, but also such sophisticated hardware as Javelin and NLAW anti-tank systems or Phoenix Ghost and Switchblade explosive drones.

As for the drone, the trader assured that it’ll be placed into a stash, with its coordinates and the photo of the spot to be shared after the payment is made through the marketplace, acting a guarantor of the deal. The parcel is going to be dug into the ground in the woods, he said.

When asked if the Phoenix Ghost could be delivered to an area outside Ukraine, specifically the Polish border town of Przemysl, he replied this won’t be a problem, but would cost an extra $1,000.

This potentially suggests that the Ukrainian arms smugglers may have already established contacts with border guards and are able to cross in and out of Poland without complications.

RT was able to contact one of the said sellers through a marketplace on the darknet and agree the purchase, for a price of $4,000, of a Phoenix Ghost loitering munition, which had been developed by the US especially for the needs of the Ukrainian military.

The journalists, who pretended to be interested buyers, said they were also interested in a batch of American M18A1 Claymore anti-personnel mines, but were told that those were out of stock.

RT has also exchanged messages with another trader, nicknamed ‘weapons ukraine,’ who was looking to sell batches of US-made body armor at the price of $ 1,500 for five units, and M4 rifles with a silencer and a hundred bullets for $2,4000 thousand per set.

That person also offered a wide selection of old Russian- and Soviet-made arms, including AK-47 rifles, handguns, grenades and sniper rifles.

The prices on the marketplace turned out to be shockingly low. For example, the British-made NLAW system is being sold there for just $15,000, while acquiring the anti-tank weapon legally could cost from $30,000 to $40,000, according to the media.

They will dig a hole in the woods for you to collect in Ukraine but for an extra $1000 for it to be buried in Poland.

Phoenix Ghost Loitering Munitions = $4,000
M18A1 Claymores = Out of Stock
British NLAW = $15,000
US-made Body Armor = $1,500 / 5 units
M4 Rifles + Silencers + 100 bullets = $24,000
AK-47s, rifles, handguns, grenades, sniper rifles etc.

Indonesia, Brazil, Nigeria. In that order, they represent the significance of largely independent developing countries, and increasingly play swing roles in global chess matches. Amazingly, so far, non of them is standing on the side of the west on Russia.
India, Israel, Turkey are far more important countries in terms of diaspora power and they will get even more influence after this Ukraine is done. It is these three countries action or inactions that make things happen.
I just dont think Indonesia, Brazil, Nigeria can influence EU/US to same extent.

it will consider a conservative legal theory giving state legislatures virtually unchecked power over federal elections, warning that it could erode basic tenets of American democracy.
The idea, known as the “independent legislature theory,” represents to some theorists a literal reading of the Constitution.
But in its most far-reaching interpretation, it could cut governors and state courts out of the decision-making process on election laws while giving state lawmakers free rein to change rules to favor their own party. The impact could extend to presidential elections in 2024 and beyond, experts say, making it easier for a legislature to disregard the will of its state’s citizens.
This immense power would go to legislative bodies that are themselves undemocratic, many advocates say, because they have been gerrymandered to create partisan districts, virtually ensuring the party-in-power’s candidates cannot be beaten.
Republicans control both legislative chambers in 30 states and have been at the forefront of pushing the theory.

The tactic of charging Chinese influence in other countries' governments works. Look at how many Western countries have used it in their elections. Why not South Korea? You don't think their conservatives learn the tactics of their counterparts in the US? It's ironic that the West claims democracy is for the truth when lying is a regularly thing in order for politicians to get votes. Look at how Biden is spinning about how well the US economy is doing or how the US is beating China. Is that a thing? They've always said China's numbers are a lie therefore the US has always actually been doing better. This is the first time the US has to brag that it's beating China. Yeah it looks like US politics are going the way of India. I guess the inferiority complex is seeping into the West.

My problem with Beijing is that it seems to patronize at it's own expense many of these countries giving them a sense of needed importance hence why they can be offensive to China in their local politics. I prefer the way China treats countries like Lithuania instead but that doesn't happen a lot. Notice how Lithuania seems to be quiet now letting the EU do their dirty work. Or look at Senator Masha Blackburn who one day targeted and railed against China in a rant and then some official in China had a one-word response to her... "Bitch!" She's still anti-China but she's been quiet ever since. People use China as their punching bag so much because Beijing usual does nothing that it's a shock when China does react. Like I've been saying... sometimes the best way you can communicate with someone is to speak their own language. Dirt understands dirt. Some countries China may need something from them but Beijing should be more strategic about it like the recent airliner purchase of Airbus over Boeing. That message was loud and clear and universally received immediately. China's usual tactic of waiting to retaliate long enough to be detached from the offense doesn't work. Some Chinese think that's the civilized way of doing it but people forget and they instead feel like they're being offended for nothing because the reason has been lost. It doesn't work because no one ends up seeing China as the way some Chinese think that's the best way. The West calls when Chinese officials use terse language against them as "aggression". It's called every day of the week in the West.

Poor NASA feeling left out from the gov pushing a huge slash fund over towards the MIC.
I have never believed in any chance of NASA cooperating with CNSA in any way in my life time, but there are members here still hold some hope for that. I think this bizarre accusation from NASA's chief certainly destroy any slight hope IF there is any.

Americans throw out hyperbole charges to get people on the defensive where they have to prove they're not doing it. That's why don't believe when they say they believe in innocent until proven guilty. That's only to make themselves look so civilized when it's really the opposite because the whole point is to get people to bend over backward to prove that's not the case and that usually comes in the form of blind obedience. If you are not blindly obedient then you must be planning to do what is charged. Bill Nelson has made comments worried over China's plans for space. This is the way to get China to have to divulge something that is not required to but the US wants to know and then force China into submitting to what the US demands which is yielding to the US in space.

I'm writing a story where in the future an alien civilization is visited by Americans for the first time because some American long ago bought their star in one of those star registry services and they're there to claim the planet as theirs.

Deaths, injuries reported amid mass protests in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan has declared a state of emergency as violence has erupted in its autonomous region over draft constitution amendments

Massive protests have engulfed north-western Uzbekistan on Friday as the Central Asian nation planned to revoke certain rights from its largest autonomous region as part of planned constitution changes. The standoff between the protesters and the law enforcement has apparently turned violent as videos on social media showed people supposedly injured in the clashes and bodies allegedly lying in the streets.

When people are saying that the US has been gradually and voluntarily lowering themselves into the fiery pit of facism, it isn't a stretch at all.

It's the reality.

Facism is capitalism in decay. - Lenin

And yet, you have ignorant punks who still keep yelling and moaning that Chyna is turning into a facist country, SeeSeePee is the new Nazi, ChiNazi, all other sorts of BS you could fathom of.

Hilarious and ridiculous, really. Actual facists calling anyone who disagrees with them as "facists". Especially China who practices Socialism with Chinese Characteristics - which itself is an actual antipode of facism.

Fourth of July celebration canceled over deadly police shooting

Police officers in the US city of Akron fired almost 100 rounds at a black man during a chase earlier this week

The man died after more than 60 rounds struck his body.

Eight officers fired a total of more than 90 rounds at Walker, hitting him more than 60 times, DiCello told WaPo, citing autopsy records.

However, one of his family’s attorneys, Boddy DiCello, told WaPo that there was “no evidence” the gun was in the car during the pursuit or that it was discharged at a police officer.

Instead, the statement said that “officers immediately summoned for EMS as they began administering first aid until the arrival of paramedics.”

“Administering first aid.” They shot 100 rounds and +60 hit his body. Guy was clearly dead before he even hit the ground. Plus he would be filled with dozens of glaring bullet holes.
