This was expected, its up to China to respond. So far, the US has been successful at making inroads in the Asia Pacific.

Putin maybe all the negative things his worst critics say he is but one thing he's not is mentally deranged to assume that invading or capturing a country at least 2 or 3 times the size of Iraq, a country with a sizable military that's also been trained by U.S. led NATO for 8 years with a meagre "invasion force" of about 150,000 troops is not based on facts but conjecture.

Its game over for Ukraine.... everyone in the know already knows it, but the West still pushing out the propaganda and some folks still drinking the kool aid... I think if anything this is a lesson for TW but alas it will fall on deaf ears again

Success with countries that are already vassalized before, I would be more surprised if Singapore expressed interest in joining security pacts instead. Anyways, for what kind of response China could do is to coordinate with Russia and North Korea, arming North Korea with anti-ship missiles and air-defense weapons to the point that at the start of any conflict, our boy Kim will fulfill his goal of crushing imperialism by paralyzing South Korea's offensive capabilities and destroying Japan's naval fleet.
