US and UK repeatedly in Dec 2021 and early Feb 2021 said "Ukraine is non-NATO, we defend every inch of NATO, but no US troops on Ukraine soil."
So no, there was zero chance of NATO intervention to begin with. US was non-stop screaming about invasion for 3 months but mobilized negligible troops to Europe.
Agreed. US won't do jack shit over Taiwan. The difference is US never explicitly said they won't rescue Taiwan, but they did explicitly say they won't rescue Ukraine.

Plus there's always lots of money to be made in situation like this playing the bad guy who sold out. You just buy tanker full of Russian oil, drop like a single drop of Texas light sweet in each and sell them as freedom oil with mark up.
