Ajit Doval and Jaishankar had promised to Wang Yi to abide by the One China policy. After that, Jaishankar suddenly said that India's policy with Taiwan have not changed. I.e.: India is going to maintain its existing relations with Taiwan.

Off course the Chinese are not taking this well. I think they're already anticipating India's backstab. This "don't touch Taiwan promise" thing was perhaps a litmus test for the Indians. And the Indians have failed it.

Not honoring agreements and breaking promises is what India always does. Its further evidence that this "thaw" between India and China is not gonna last long. I anticipate that it'll collapse soon after Modi's next meeting with Trump in the US.

You only get angry if you have expectations. I mean anyone who paid enough attention is able to tell this would happen. So I really don't get why some Chinese are acting surprised India would do this. Sometimes I really do think a lot of them esp the ones in government live a very sheltered life and don't know how low some people can go. They really need to wisen up soon.

Btw Indians may think they are so smart and can swindle others. Chinese people may generally try to act honest now. But looking at history, if the scenario calls for it and the Chinese wanna play dirty, they can do stuff even India cannot fathom. When that happens, its gonna be real ugly for India.

I mean that china should seized the opertunity to inflicted irreversible damage upon India. I can ensure that china and India will never be friendship but eternal enemies. I'd rather offer trump to let china took part for punishing India for trump. Trump would be happy

Just not aiding India is good enough. Trump's actions and India's own contradictions would do the rest of the damage.

I think what China is actually doing now is a combination of lip service and easily breakable deals. Any agreements now could easily collapse the moment India takes any small idiotic steps. This "Taiwan test" could be one of those triggers. Soon, India is gonna start playing with Xizang, Aksai Chin, and SCS again. Then mini reproachment will collapse back to business as usual.

The thing is china shouldn't ease restrictions on export to India, I don't see what china getting from it
