I got this study from a link from an article from The Hill and noticed The Hill didn't mention anything about per capita. How convenient! China is not third. Its fourteenth when it comes to per capita. Then the study itself doesn't factor in outsourcing where the figures would change even more if outsourcers were making their own products.

Let's see... First they target China as the greatest threat to the world just for being a strong competitor to the West. Then Putin's war in Ukraine interrupted their plans against China like how 9-11 disrupted their plans against China two decades ago. Because Putin's been bad, they have to turn to China to use its influence to stop the war because their alliance is not strong enough do it on their own but they're not willing to give anything to China for it. And now they've returned to trying to split Russia and China via paranoia by going back to Tom Clancy's The Bear and the Dragon that this is all a plot by China that China wants to takeover the Russian Far East.

It won't work. Putin doesn't read these rag articles, they won't be able to split the two again. The plan being executed now by Russia is prepared by both China and Russia for a long time. There's a narrative going around as well, that Russia wouldn't have done their operation in Ukraine, without China's backing to help support them economically against sanctions.

All these articles trying to split the two are just pathetic and coping at this point. In a few months, they might give up churning these trash out and go full on China-Russia alliance scaremongering.

This is actually good for China as it helps ensure a more reliable supply of Russian coal to replace any Australian coal.

Yep hopefully. I have always wondered why dun China just get their coal from nearby Russia instead of from here in Australia, even before current the trade spat. Although i have been told land transport route actually cost more than by sea.
