Hopefully this wil lead to the end of diplomatic relations with the EU. It's not a real country so I don't see why China they need to be received as if they were one. Ambassadorial duties can be handled by any of ambassadors already appointed to China by each EU country.

No country within Europe would dare come to China to lecture on human rights or attempt to threaten China to join their economic war against Russia. But saying it behind the banner of the EU they can absolve each individual state's responsibility and they just become a mouthpiece for US foreign policy.

In future, communication should be either country to country or between the EU and SCO.
China has been scaling back its communication/engagement with the EU and now focuses on individual EU countries.

In fact, there had been a lot of discussion about not even having this meeting with EU leaders but with EU countries head of state. From what I have heard however, the EU managed to convince Chinese diplomats for Xi to have a meeting with EU leaders...

If that's true, after these public comments after the meeting, expect the Chinese diplomats to get a LOT of stick for this embarrassment of a meeting. I expect a major focus on focusing to EU countries from now on

There are many other ways to learn Chinese.
I, as a Chinese, is not very fond of the Confucian Institute. There is nothing Confucian about it. You don't really learn Real Chinese philosophy and history, nor does it give you any real insight about current Chinese academic achievements in the field of Chinese history, archeology, traditional Chinese philosophy and Classics.

They are only a some what adequate platform to get to know China in a very basic and superficial manner. In fact, you learn much more about China in this forum than what you could learn in the Confucian Institute.
Im sure there are better ways, but im also mostly following it for the group classes and for the class interaction and dynamics.
The confucian Institute over here does organise events about Chinese history, culture etc. But didn't have any time to visit such an event.

Grocery giant Aldi is raising prices on 400 products by up to 30% starting tomorrow and expects other discounters like Lidl, Edeka, and Rewe to follow suit.

German article is saying grocery store Aldi is hiking prices by 20% to 50% on hundreds of products.

Don’t worry. If you are cold wear a sweater as the German Energy Minister said.

If you get hungry then make some mud cookies. Haiti has a good recipe. Dirt, Salt, and Veggie shortening because lard is too expensive.

But we were told that the totally real CPI inflation data for Germany was only 7%...

Let's see how the German Propaganda Department tries to spin these price increases

Look like Orban and Vucic close ties with Russia and China didn't affect their elections victory.

Huge news! Very important that the West didn't succeed in overthrowing them. Especially in Hungary, they threw everything they had against Orban and they still lost lol.
