The US twitter bots out in action:

Pretty soon it will be: I'll stop using electricity for Ukraine, I'll stop driving my car for Ukraine, I'll stop buying food for Ukraine, etc.
what's missing in this line of thinking is "did anyone have to pay these prices in the first place?"

Furthermore, I think the world being it's right now has a lot to do with some powerful countries don't have to pay much of a price in these scenario, which allows them to push things to a brink for others.

Hoe dare we to have economic values that are different from the G7 (neoliberalism). How dare we to develop out economy, industry and technology. I really start to dislike West Europeans and their relatives in North America and Australia.

Change it to: 'Germany doesn't represent the principles that China stands for, and is a "systemic rival" to world's largest economy', and see them throw a hissy fit.

What a brazen display of hypocrisy. When countries bordering Russia or China hosts American military assets, its their sovereign right, but when a small country like Solomon islands hosts Chinese military assets, suddenly its a serious concern??
The commentaries are beyond hilarious, as well as highly irritating. I say, China should proceed to building that base, protect the sovereignty of Solomon Islands and if it must, defend the rights of the government who supports China. The dragon can't afford to let her allies be picked apart, regime change whenever, and wherever without any strong military response. All the investments will turn into ashes withering away the hard earned money the Chinese people have worked, paid with blood, sweat, and tears just for the American led puppets to destroy.

Are we finally seeing a strategic shift in foreign policy? It seems like China is finally using their military might in diplomacy, through offering security deals and protection from foreign intervention.
They have to put up a fight otherwise they are essentially leaving the hard earned investments made on the countries they partnered with to the vultures, saboteurs, and regime change psychos a.k.a America and her running dogs to ruin. And for what? So that some Chinese officials can keep singing "no interference" and "win, win" scenario? The Americans can just continue saying please continue doing that, and we'll keep the cost infinitely higher, deadlier for you chumps.

The Americans are mother fire breathing bullies that must be confronted wether they like it or not.

I heard that we are building a fish processing facility there.

Cant wait for countless Chinese fishermen to go to Australian waters and start catching fish there. We are going to do some nice grayzone warfare activities at them with having Solomon Islands as our base.

Then you can also imagine how these gigantic Chinese Coast Guard ships will harass Australian civilian vessels
We are going to make their lives as difficult as possible.

And in case they might want to take military action for our grayzone warfare activities, we will also be sending the PLAN to deter them. The future is looking bright on confronting these American chihuahuas.

As someone who lived in Australia for an extended period of time, it amuses me to no end the willingness Australians display in offering themselves as cannon fodder for the American empire. There are quite literally a million and one ways the CCP could collapse this country. The most pain-free would be to block students from enrolling in Australian universities, thereby collapsing the Australian tourism and higher education sector overnight. This would come at no cost to China, in fact it would be a net positive considering the quality of Aussie universities. The most devastating method would be to stop imports of iron ore and send Australia into the 2008 recession they missed out on. China will do this gradually as Brazilian and African mines are established, and on its transition to renewables.

Non-interference and ''win-win'' foreign policy will bring us to ruin and a guaranteed lose for a myriad of generations shackled to Uncle Sam and their running dogs. The stakes and consequences are epochal. Throw that outdated foreign policy doctrine in the garbage. We are talking about our survival as a civilizationial constant and the freedom to decide our own future path.

R/cringe worthy. The desperation is palpable with their pathetic attempts to split China-Russia

"A reminder for all Chinese.

Everything south of the Nerchinsk Line from 1689 is stolen Chinese land.

In the Treaty of Aigun (1858), Russia stole everything up to the Amur River (in yellow).

In the Peking Treaty (1860), they stole all the land east of the Ussuri River (in red)."
The response to it tho (note the whole of Ukraine within the Mongol khanate) -
