I agree and I support Russia in this but you guys russophils weird the shxt out of me... Putin deployed almost 200.000 his technically not looking for peaceful solutions here but some of the narratives thrown around by Pro-Russian accounts get on my nerve and sometimes I question myself if we exist in same universe.. In just few days we could be hearing Russia invades Ukraine and you guys are spamming virgin Marie narratives... LMAO this is unbelievable brothers and deserves its own comedy cause this is good material
Most of the Western media reports claim that Russia has deployed around 100,000 troops near Ukraine. Russia has not mobilized its reserves. Even more tellingly, Ukraine has also not bothered with mobilizing reserves.
For the 1991 Gulf War, the US mobilized the National Guards and sent more than 700,000 troops to the Gulf. US Allies sent several hundred thousand more troops for a combined US and allied force of around a million men.
The Gulf War was also only two and a half years after the end of the Iran-Iraq War which had left Iraq's military severely depleted in both manpower and equipment and Iraq only barely survived the Iran-Iraq War through the help of the US. Iraq's population before the Gulf War was only 17 million, a small fraction of Ukraine's current population of 44 million. A third of Iraq's population were Kurds who were actively rebelling against Saddam, and most of Iraq's Arab population were Shiites, many of whom were not fond of Saddam's Sunni dominated regime. Iraq was completely surrounded by hostile states with no international support and no access to weapons and supplies while Ukraine is backed by all of its western neighbors and has been receiving a constant stream of modern Western equipment. By every measure, Ukraine today is in a much stronger position than Iraq was before the Gulf War.
Is it reasonable that the US and allies needed a million men to defeat Iraq in the Gulf War, but Russia today is somehow planning a conquest of Ukraine with only 100,000 men?
