I’ve never seen such a co-ordinated effort of propaganda than the Western media coverage of the Beijing Olympics. Seriously, many articles covering it are blatantly biased, bringing up unrelated politics! It’s surreal.
To be honest both left and right wing American media is becoming increasingly cringeworthy, to the point that it's unbearable to consume.

This is very harmful to a well functioning democracy. A well informed and rational public is essential to the stability of the system. As more rational viewers tune out of the mainstream, media will cater towards the increasingly radical left and right.

As Ai Weiwei pointed out, US is entering an era of authoritarianism and radical politics like that during the Cultural Revolution in China.

The legislation would also create a “China Watcher” program designating Foreign Service officer positions to “monitor and combat Chinese malign influence” at U.S. posts abroad.

so what was you debating untill now?. isnt its Russian electricity that is reliably exported to many countries without breakdown.
I was debating FDI into Asian countries until you started shifting the topic every single second and went from FDI to "Russians export electricity to many countries" because you were unable to source your original statements.
it is clear that you only went with first set of facts from prior years and not consider the current updated data.
You are pretty dense, the projections for this year from Turkey itself were present in your own article that you posted. You just decided to go with the peak consumption and extrapolate it onto the whole year. If you are so certain in your projections, then let's make a bet - if Turkish gas consumption for the year 2022 does not exceed the consumption of Germany over the same period, you will delete your account. Deal?
oil and gas cannot keep positive trade balance when there is that military expenditure as military expenditure suck competent manpower so much less left for working in factories. thats the reason Germany not maintain military much but maintain influence through engineering. it does not matter where it is assembled.
Another set of gibberish. You literally go into trade statistics for e.g. Saudi Arabia and watch the positive trade deficits even at low oil price periods, end. Why did you go from debating about the Russian trade balance to Germany not maintaining its military? Russian military expenditure is 4.3% of GDP. Stop shifting the goals.
you will never see German asking arab about this one.

The Biden administration and European allies are searching the world for surplus natural gas to send to Europe in the event conflict erupts over Ukraine, including approaching China about its supplies, according to people familiar with the matter.

Talks with China have been limited and haven’t yet resulted in any agreement, two of the people said. U.S. and European officials have also spoken to officials in Japan, South Korea and India about diverting supplies of gas to Europe, the people said.

anything can be published without practically tested. if some thing wrong in product in product it will come out. just like Dakkar rally.
Does not change the fact that Russian UAV manufacturers tried to pass off Ali Express drones as battle UAVs.
how those things got transported to those locations that was the point. unless there is influence no one allowed military to flyover.
Ah, so ballistic missiles, missile defense systems, and drones from China are teleported to those countries. Got it.

i never said anything to the contrary. infact it proves my point that Turkey despite insignificant part of China trade. China still want to maintain good relations with it. so there must be some qualitative reason behind it.
If you actually read the linked article, it talks less about China doing stuff to keep the relations with Turkey but Turkey building their economy around China - "Sinoforming the economy" (actual quote from the article). They basically import Chinese equipment and semi-finished goods, then do the environmentally-heavy parts and sell the product to Europe, essentially acting as Europe-adjacent outsource center for some of the Chinese industries:
Turkish manufacturing doesn’t have much to do with Turkey. It buys Chinese capital equipment and semi-finished goods and sells the finished products to Europe.

Turkey has found a niche in the fast-growing trade relationship between Europe and China as a producer of steel products, chemicals, household appliances and other goods, concentrating on more labor-intensive and environmentally problematic industries.
Basically, we are seeing

To be fair Brexit had a lot to do with this as well.

It's kind of artificial.

We could say Confucian based societies have a big GDP collectively.

That don't mean nutthin'.

It is not like China will negotiate directly with Wal-Mart on behalf of the Vietnamese government or Viet company of where in Vietnam to build that warehouse.

WTF is a "China Watcher" and how's that supposed to be enforced?
I imagine by setting up a China monitoring office in their 'diplomatic' outposts & consulates and bringing pressure (coercion) to bear in the host country to follow certain US imposed actions. That bill 'America competes act' (read China sabotage act) is 3000 pages long and filled with anti-China future actions to sabotage, coerce, suppress and do much more. The China content is likely humongous and spans all realms you can possibly think of. I have no summary list at hand otherwise I would have shared it.

Someone explain what happened here because this video is probably going to be used as "See See Pee" control evil agenda.

From what I can make out, the Chinese guy is saying, "Bro, move over there", and the reporter is saying "okay, wait just a minute".

So I'm guessing the reporter and the camera crew are blocking traffic and the Chinese guy, a volunteer by the look of his badge, is telling him to move.
