Tbf Russia has gathered quite a lot of troops near Ukraine.
It can't credibly say that this is business as usual
Something has got to give.
Its like, imagine China massing troops from different regions, mobilising them opposite Taiwan and then saying "nothing to see here folks"...
Ukraine would be dumb to believe that so many troops are massing next to it just for some military exercises
By mid-March should be ok?Russia will not invade. The weather is not permitting.
Are you referring to waiting for colder weather so the ground freezes over for better maneuvering of tanks?Russia will not invade. The weather is not permitting.

The invasion will not happen this winter but most likely will come in November 21, 2022... Winter in Ukraine is from December, January, and Febuary hence Russia doesnt fancy finishing them off in 2 weeks but rather over months hence next winter is an ideal target tho Russia will keep the build up and pressure for months and won't retreat hence there will likely be a nerve wrecking tension build up for the next 7 months..Mid March would be the worst. It’ll be a slosh fest through mud.

Biden is basically copying Trump's play book. Make things worse, then claim victory or improvement after things return to pre-crisis. Doing "great" things by doing nothing. I think we will see this kind of actions more and more. The U.S. has created a scenario as follows: Russia attacks Ukraine - see, we told you so, Russia and Putin are bad. Russia doesn't attack Ukraine - see, we scared those bad Russians off. A success in influencing the target audience.
