The pattern had been long established, first a US or Western Thinktank identify you country (based on economic and geopolitics), then a Western gov't issued warning of Human right abuses, then trade sanction followed, after softening up the underbellies riot and protest happen , a snap election follow , another protest regarding the election result and then people power revolution and the installation of a western back puppet gov't. So within each step the preparation takes months or years to established so countering it can be done easily IF they Acted decisively. Ohh!!! Lest I forget to add again , the precedent ,it always OCCUR the same year as the Olympics especially when it is held either in China or Russia. So a lesson for both never Bid for an Olympic event , its a curse rather than a blessing.

This is an interesting take with the olympic games and when has it occured before? Who were the hosts of that olympic games when it occured?

There were the algorithm regulations released some days ago. It has quite a lot of detailed rules on what algorithms should allow to be done in internet services. Toxic fandoms, paying-for-views, artificial popularity and a lot of other nefarious tricks that social media love to use to keep users hooked up in their services (Facebook is a good example)
There were also some other rules released in October-December.

So to summarise, rules/regulations were created in 2021. In 2022, the gigantic regulator's hammer will demolish any resistance from big tech(implementation time).

Toxic fandoms exit from the internet is always a welcome and the artificial popularity but I am more interested about the part where you mentioned any type of resistance from online will be hammered? Do you mean as in liberals within china?

How does China view the democratic fans and believers of their system just like these in Taiwan who technically believe in dying for democracy what is China's view on them..

No need to be political correct when replying just go for it and express yourself as you see it..

@Arnies 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics with Georgian War (Russia won), 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics with Ukraine Maidan Color Revolution (US won) now the Tiebreaker 2022 Beijing winter Olympics so far in Kazakhstan (Russia won) BUT we had 17 days more to go and the US will try to instigate more BUT so far in any flash point in the Pacific (SCS, TAIWAN and Afghanistan) regarding China and Ukraine on Russia the peripheries don't want to participate and is satisfied with the status quo.

@Arnies 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics with Georgian War (Russia won), 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics with Ukraine Maidan Color Revolution (US won)

I don't see how the US won Ukraine and yes the guy Russia supports was ousted but I don't think Russia won or lost there it always had a plan to annex Ukraine as they view it being part of the larger Kievan-rus history but I can now understand the olympic curse

I don't really care about rating. But both Hellbound and Silent Sea just not worth my time.

Silent sea was hell'va boring but I watched Hellbound thought the concept was interesting and watched all of it but I couldn't watch Squid game I preferred the Japanese version it was copied from ''Alice in borderland''

@Arnies Bro cause the Russian are so preoccupied on their Olympic preparation, they can't act decisively fearing a possible backlash like a boycott which was being pushed around by the Western press, and that pressure build up leading to the Maidan event. Brother you're right, the US haven't won yet BUT the destruction on Ukraine is enormous (economically and socially), with shared pass, ordinary Russian do share their pain as part of them is being ripped apart. And I think the campaign to take back Ukraine is being undertaken, with a reversed Color Revolution, step by step the former Eastern European countries will be freed from Western Imperialism except for the Baltic state and Poland.
