Correct me if I am wrong, but if I remember correctly, China was willing to cooperate and offload some labour intensive industries to India before 2017.

Anyway, those are some old rumours I had heard so take them with a grain of salt

Most likely to move to SEA countries. mainly Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand or even Vietnam ... .. perhaps Pakistan and Bangladesh ... India is "too rich" to do that kind of stuff ;)

I meant even India's GDP per capita is much lower than those countries, but they feel and think superior and much richer

Why Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Myanmar haven't ratified it?
Its local politics. RCEP is hugely disruptive in many industries. Inevitably this generates local interest groups to clash with each other. Some want the benefit, some hate the competition from opening up etc

Usual stuff

Its all about if the countries' governing political parties have the necessary political capital to push through opposition from various interest groups

For Indonesia, here is a video explaining it

The prosecution of Mr Lieber might look like evidence of the China Initiative’s success, but that is not necessarily the case. Investigators admitted in court that they chose to pursue Mr Lieber in part because of the presence of ethnic Chinese researchers in his lab, which raises the risk of surveillance of people on the basis of their race—a violation of the DOJ’s own guidelines. “This plays directly into Beijing’s narrative of anti-Chinese racism,” says Emily Weinstein of the Centre for Security and Emerging Technology, a think-tank.

The highly civilized west and it's lackeys love to disparage China's supposed disgusting "eating habits" with the usual "bat eating soups" casually apply to every Chinese folks, but apparently eating bugs is cool if the west says so because it's nutrients are super duper amazing. I bet if the Chinese person or periodical wrote this stuff the usual anti-China army would descend on social media declaring hoe filthy Chinese people are. LoL
