Love how Indians think they're going to take advantage of the chip shortage by getting into making them with statements that they're looking to economically challenge the US. That's what the US is trying to avoid so their semiconductor dreams are already dead because why else now would they all of the sudden get into the chip business. They would already be in it if it were for domestic use. I wouldn't be surprised if India hasn't changed much another decade from now since all their dreams of beating China relied on the West to help them get there but now since since the West sees outsourcing as a national security threat, they certainly ain't going to be getting high technology.

I recently read an article that said Wall Street is looking to replace Chinese tech companies that XI is looking for them to exit on their stock exchange with Indian tech companies. Like there's an equivalency there or else those Indian companies would already be a part of their stock exchange. The US wanted to kick China out in the first place but now since China is choosing to leave, they're mad and they think they can get China back by replacing them with India... That shows you their mindset where China is doing what they wanted to happen in the first place but the difference is they're the ones that have to be in control on who decides it. Petty. They have to have absolute power and it has to be against your will or they won't be satisfied.

On Netflix they're showing a Leonardo DiCaprio/Jennifer Lawrence movie, Don't Look Up, that they say is going to win Academy Awards. It's a comedy about how two scientists are trying to warn the world that a planet killing asteroid is headed to hit Earth but politics is preventing people from taking it seriously. It's actually a parody of how the US handled the COVID-19 pandemic. "Don't Look Up" is what the "right-wing" in this movie is telling everyone because they claim the asteroid is hoax so Americans should'nt surrender by looking up to see for themselves. The movie is pretty pretentious but it does hit a chord on how absurd Americans think. Just deny it and it's not happening. Just look at this video I found on YouTube. The poorest city in China versus the richest in the US, New York City.

It reminds me of how Trump, before he was President, was upset at Asian countries for having better airports than the US. Shouldn't he be upset at the US for not building new airports? That's the mentality of Americans. They cannot build themselves up but instead the only way they can be better than everyone else is by pushing everyone else down. They find that the easier route. They claim to be the richest most advanced country in the world yet passing infrastructure bills is equivalent to climbing Mt Everest. And yet they expect the world to yield advancement for the sake of their egos. If they're the richest in the world and their economy is doing the best shouldn't they be able to find the money for infrastructure easily? Ten trillion dollars can be given to the US and they still wouldn't be able to find the money for infrastructure because the US system has already allocated that money for everyone's special interests first. They're worried about China beating them in AI yet they find the easiest way to prevent that from happening is telling China not to do it. Americans expect to be number one without effort meaning everyone else has to hold themselves back so the US is number one. And not doing that is enough for them to think they can go to war if countries don't comply. You think this is mind of reason and civility?

Chaos and The Triumph Of Survival

Authored by Egon von Greyerz (22 December 2021)

...
For most people, coming events will thus be like the definition of the word CHAOS: “A state of total confusion and disorder”.

It is interesting that with almost 200 countries in the world, each country has different rules how to deal with covid. If all these rules were based on science, you would have thought that the rules would have been the same for all 200 countries.

Or could it be as many observers believe that the politicians use the pandemic to their own advantage.

Or is it more likely that neither the scientists nor the politicians have got a clue how to deal with a disease that creates hardly any deaths in excess of normal deaths?

We were told that the vaccines would solve the problem but two shots haven’t so far as we were promised. So now everyone needs a booster every few months. With Big Pharma being both judge and jury plus benefiting from their own advice to the extent 100s of billions of dollars, how do we know the real truth?

The consequences of these constant changing of rules and shutdowns will clearly have a DEVASTATING effect on an already very fragile world economy and financial system.

Note: A DEFLATIONARY spiral typically occurs during periods of economic crisis, such as a recession or depression, as economic output slows and demand for investment and consumption dries up. ... As more money is saved, less money is spent, further DECREASING aggregate demand.

Note: One quadrillion = 1,000 trillions

1,000,000,000 = billion
1,000,000,000,000 = trillion
1,000,000,000,000,000 = quadrillion

Many decades ago "a billion" was a huge number. These days, 1000x bigger, a "trillion" has replaced that for economic impact. Now we see the "quadrillion-word" being bandied about... that's a million times bigger an economic/numerical concept, in one life time. 1,000,000 X multiplier!!! So, how many more ounces of gold are there on the planet in the past 60 years? Not even close to double or triple, like the world population. Without saying it out plainly... does any one get the drift :) And people are still wondering about the inflation, why does it happen, what causes such constant inflation...

Note: To understand more about the Jekyll island episode, follow the hyperlink to author's other article on this topic, may also see the reference material at Edward Griffin's book: The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at The Federal Reserve, 5th ed. (2010)

Note: The COUNTERPARTY risk is the probability that the other party in an investment, credit, or trading transaction may not fulfill its part of the deal and may default on the contractual obligations.

President Biden came into office wanting to focus on what he sees as one of the biggest threats to the U.S. middle class: the rising power of China.
But as Biden attempted to take on China, Russia kept intruding and pulling his attention away. He spent much of his first year in office trying to achieve what Western leaders call "stable and predictable relations" with Moscow.

Trump administration kept labeling China as the US's national security threat; the Biden administration now calls China one of the biggest threats to US middle class. A lot of US analysts are playing out the scenario of China doing a Pearl Harbor to the US. While these people are generally incompetent, they sure are not lacking imagination.

Putin is willing to making the move now in large part because of the US obsession with China and strong relationship between China and Russia.

Not just because of the China - Russia relationship, but because this is what a multipolar world looks like. Countries can afford to play hardball with the US because theres now an alternative power to balance against the US.

More countries will stand up to the US like Russia, Iran, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and so on. Because no matter how much the YS wants, they're not the only game in town anymore.
