China is the big brother who is holding the sky for N.Korea.

If N.Korea cannot reform under such favourable circumstances, then it is "doomed" economically. S.Korea, China and the rest of the world will keep advancing while it remains stuck behind the world

Don't forget that at the beginning N.Korea had a larger economy than S.Korea. Look at the situation now, and then make a prediction about its future based on the world entering the 4th Industrial Revolution.

That it is stagnating so much only proves that its political system is not working. Instead of learning from China it tries to do its own thing which predictably leads to failure

I don't know, maybe it doesn't care anymore because it knows China will always protect it. If that's their thinking then it is correct, as China is also comfortable in this role.

In the end this is a win-win. Win for China and Win for Kim. As for the N.Korean people, that's another story for another time

North Korea can’t reform with the sanctions still in place.

Also, I would not read too much into the politics of Malaysia. It's a democracy that votes every 4/5 years, nowadays mostly hotly contested. And we all know how these systems work, as politicians only care about votes. The Malaysian Chinese Association, which I'm no fan of, however is not the one that cancelled those China linked infrastructure projects. Both sides of the Malaysian political divide attack the Chinese, one targets the native Malaysian Chinese, the other focusses on China. The supposedly "free" internet press like Malaysiakini that is critical of the government and supposedly champions minority rights, has the CIA's NED as one of its sponsors, and is vehemently anti-China.

All I'm saying is we must be very careful not to drink the Kool-Aid being fed by the West. We must maintain a cool head when analysing the situations affecting us the Chinese diaspora, and the geo-political happenings around China and its interests.

It's a pattern that everywhere where there is unregulated press activity, the media will invariably be controlled or influenced by the CIA. This is likely the chief reason why the US cares so much about "freedom of press".

and democracy too .Not that they care so much about it but because a government can easily be changed via 'free' elections every 4 or 5 years .

The ongoing pandemic has claimed the lives of some 21 million people in China. That's
why tyrant Xi Jinping recently abolished the 1-child policy that had been in place for years. CCP
had credited the 1-child policy with preventing China's population increase over the years by some
400 million.
There are widespread food shortages in China. In the last couple of months, some cities
have been without electricity. Factories without power are unable to make and ship their
products. Large areas in a number of provinces are under flood water. Frequent Delta and
Omicron outbreaks continue to plague the country. Every time outbreaks are reported, citizens
are jabbed with same ineffective vaccine - less than 50% efficacy - over and over. Recently,
there were 10 huge explosions in various parts of China. CCP has kept mum offering no
explanation.
Under these conditions, CCP headman Jinping has brought good news to his people.
Now they can have large families. New population target: 2 billion
