NEW DELHI: The Indian Space Research Organisation on Friday signed an agreement with Chinese tech giant Oppo to strengthen the research and development (R&D) of the NavIC messaging service.

As per the MoU, both ISRO and Oppo India will exchange technical information of NavIC messaging services to build rapid, ready-to-use, end-to-end application-specific solutions by integrating the NavIC messaging service with the mobile handset platform keeping in mind the need of Indian users.

“The memorandum will pave the way for future collaborations between ISRO and Oppo India to develop indigenous solutions by incorporating the NavIC short messaging feature in the smartphones released by OPPO India,” Oppo India said in a statement.

NavIC system provides detailed regional navigation services covering the Indian mainland and an area up to 1,500 km beyond it. NavIC is also capable of broadcasting short messages.

The Indian Space Research Organisation signed an agreement to use Oppo rockets to launch into space

Huawei is not ok but Oppo gets a pass? Ok then. After all almost all the phones captured at Galwan were Oppo phones so I guess their military trusts it.
Indians love Oppo Vivo and OnePlus. Probably they smeared their phones in cow dung and decided it was now Indian enough. Like how they have christened Rafaels as Indian fighter jets.

We have reached Peak Delusion
This guy is actually way beyond Peak Delusion.
It's actually Peak Delusion plus total ignorance of history.
While US was a democracy (perhaps he doesn't count US democracy pre-civil rights bill as democracy? Actually that would be accurate), who are some of the great democratic leaders that had US support?
South Korea - Syngman Rhee, Park Chung Hee
ROC - Chiang Kai Shek, Chiang Ching Kuo
Shah Reza Pahlavi (Iran), Augusto Pinochet (Chile), Mobutu Sese Seko (Zaire, now DRC), Manuel Noriega (Panama, one of my personal favourites), Lon Nol (Cambodia) etc.

I find it so strange that the average American is so rah-rah on Vietnam. Close to 60,000 of your sons killed to fight communism. Now we will be friends with our sons' killers (who are still committed communists), because we need to fight communism?
If an average American supports this idea, they should install some sprinklers in the Vietnam memorial that sprays visitors (Like a reverse Qin Hui)

What a dud Biden's Summit for Democracy turned out to be.

I never figured out what this Summit for Democracy was suppose to be, or what it was suppose to accomplish.

Sure, if the United States want to demonstrate to the world, that they still got friends, that is fine. China and Russia willingly acknowledges that.

But it appears the United States is unwilling to believe that it closest allies themselves also have partners and collaborates with China and Russia.

If the plan is confused and muddled, there will be no buy in.
