This is real as it gets just because people aren't used to this kind of escalation think that this is some sort of rinse and repeat the reason they can't just sit their and watch Putin pick a part Ukraine is because this will effect not only EU but the western civilization as whole. They could just run away with their tails between there legs but the consequence after that would be to great for them. They will become a fukin joke in front of the other NATO members and EU who will question there own security and coming to the realization that only Putin can grant security leaving EU and NATO behind instead for secuity offfered by Russia this means basically the end of Bruxelles and Washtington's hegemony in Europe this is like a domino effect hence Ukraine is very important for them.. They can't just take this one from the behind while watching... the stakes are to high for them.
I also don't think Taiwan will become China's first victim contrary to the popular belief the first victim will become India. As you can see China has come to the realization since 2020 that there is no way around LAC and India and that it will eventually happen this is something China has always known since even before 1962 but in 2020 it has sinked in Beijing that this is a pressing matter hence China's most divisions are pointed towards India and deployed 50k-60k Chinese armed forces there with quick response readiness. China will take Taiwan after that without much hassle Taiwan will surrender after the dispatching off India becomes psychological terror for most around the world.

Pakistan will be able to deploy 4m manpower for the incursion campaign. The first 24 hours has to be a nuking campaign of population centers before a very quick sprinting dashing storm type of incursion descents from multiple axes the key is to be inside Delhi before the 48 hours mark this will become a major psychological blow to the Indian's who likely won't recover ever again from that cause getting all your cities taken out by radiation plus your capital taken hitting the headlines will be to much to come back from.. the remaining remnants will be finished off in the coming months

@Arnies Bro I don't want to discriminate, India is puny in the world of Geopolitics, and in her sphere of influence she is being rejected by her neighbors. Until she sorted out her internal problems which is many she will never be able to reach her potential. So we leave it at that and not risk the ire of the Mod.
We are in a multiple polar world with 3 power blocs, the EU should have been the fourth and have not. You are suggesting, we should send out our not very blue water yet fleet that's supposed to protect our shore from current US threat and potential Taiwan scenario, to launch a full scale invasion desert storm style with J15 from liaoning bombing & napalm the shit outta a independent African state that might kills hundreds of thousands of civilians, damage both our BRI image and relationship to African nation, destroy our none interventionism reputation that's been maintained for decades, so that we could save a few China Town ? instead of let's say, contract airlines to take whoever wishing to leave the country home and starts a diplomatic approach and perhaps considering pulling business and investment out while their economy tanks ?
