It is about the consequences of having competent PR. Competent PR skill is something CN should nuture. You do not wage military war every day but the PR war is for every second. A couple of days ago, I was blocked by a Georgian for pointing out that the US was violating international law by being in Syria. I also got blocked by a Polish man for pointing out that Poland had annexed parts of the Czechoslovakia back during the Sudetenland Crisis of 1938. These people will align themselves with any group, criminal or not , to get revenge on Russia. These people and their blind hatred threatens the safety and security of Europe and the rest of the world. If they want Armageddon they can blow themselves up but they should leave us sane Europeans out of it. F*****g nutjobs.
I hope and pray that Germany, France and the rest of the somewhat responsible European nations have an contingency plan to deal with US forces, US agents, Quislings, and US enablers, if the US and its nutjob coalition of Russophobic eastern European countries decides to go full rogue/psycho in Europe.

No such thing. Soft power is making cartoons begging people to like you. Hard power is if people "like" you because you're strong. Everything that America does, even in the movies that it makes, attracts by pointing out American strength. Without it, without the hard power, it all collapses. Soft power is for Japan; America is too hard for that shit or it would be too soft to be China's rival.
Not really. More Chinese people trust the Chinese media than Americans trust the American media, and neither trust the other's media. China has more trust and more control. America's freedom comes from its power. When America attacks or sanctions a country, no country has the power to stop it; when America commits attrocities and its own citizens protest, they get shot and killed by the police or National Guard. Hard power only, soft power is as good as soft you know what.

As other members have said, soft power is just an extension of hard power. Until China's hard power becomes equal or more to the US, then China *could* do the same and suddenly the rest of the world would start praising Chia's greatness, "no-interference in internal matters" etc
