Oddly enough, his right hand policy dude is of Chinese stock (Miles Yu ) who is more sinophobic than Pompeo was, which made Pom Pom's actions in words and deeds not seen as racist.
If the USA has a future beyond 5 years, you may as well say that the moment that Pompeo decided to be a smartass and give China grief is the moment that China decided that its game on and its time to completely destroy not only his future and the future of his children but the future of all of his kind are now going to be quite dim because China will no rest until every single future opportunity has been taken away from the future generations of America (at least those that encourage the hatred and racism against the Chinese). Pompeo actions has only shown to China that simply eliminating his kind isn't enough, but to completely shatter the pride of the US so that they will finally understand that by starting the fight against China, they will know what it is like to have it end with them as the losers.
Mike Yu is basically a traitor from China, but like he were incompetent and not able to continue working in the chinese government so went over to the US.
Some of these boomers are super self hating and basically are adamant that China today is still exactly like China in the 60's still. I've talked with these types before, it is very tiresome to talk with them. It's uncomfortable but this is actually helpful in the same way as Gordon Chang is.
