@SampanViking Sir if true this is a strategic geopolitical move, Pakistan surely is involved and with possible coordination with Iran and Russia. Not purely a military base but maybe stationing some drones and intelligence aircraft to monitor ETIM or ISIS.

China moves into Bagram airfield? An important piece to the Eurasia puzzle The Duran: Episode 1105 US-abandoned Bagram ...

AFAIR This was fake news.

It was first spread on Twitter by bots (smells lime an Indian disibfo campaign) and then the "reputable" media Daily Mail picked it up.

Bagram is fake news spread by Indians and Western outlets just to show that

1. Taliban is betraying its ideology vis a vis presence of foreign forces (trying to provoke their cadres against the leadership)
2. Chinese are scavengers who jumped immediately at this vulnerable opportunity.

Also Pakistan and Iran are at bad terms these days which is evident from the daily jibes Iranian state media keeps delivering at Pakistan. Iranians are pissed that Taliban has no Pro-Iranian representation in the Government and they blame Pakistan for it. Also recently Pakistan came out with the report that terrorists in Balochistan have their handlers operating out of Iran & that Iranian Govt isnt doing much.
So don't expect any such coordination between the 2.

Like I said to my somewhat pro-west friend before that if the 2008 financial crisis happened or was triggered in China just imagine the howlings of the western hypocrites led by the U.S. with all their fake and pseudo analysis blaming the CPC for the failure which would essentially say that the failures were the result of a fundamentally incompatible political system i.e. Communism/Socialism with Chinese characteristics. One doesn't need to imagine how China would be painted by the usual lemmings and the kind of "special investigation" that must be conducted in China's financial system the howling hyenas would be screaming from the rooftops.

Somehow, the U.S. can cause so many world destabilization actions like their 2008 financial crash, the war in Iraq in 2003, the Syrian, Libyan, Kosova war etc...not to mention having American tech companies being found to have caused societal degradation, societal and political polarization around the world and yet NO CALL OF SANCTIONS; NO CALL FOR POLITICAL DEMOCRATIC REFORM OR EVEN A CALL FOR REVOLUTION is being fermented or pushed by the usual sheeps. Which for me confirms the sheer hypocrisy of much of the western world and the gullibility of the idiotic liberal Chinese who are more than happy to drink the poison chalice of destruction of China. And because of these unfolding events my disgust and contempt for the west have unfortunately increased tremendously.

I would disagree

If China is economically twice the size of the US by the 2030-2035 timeframe, Chinese military spending and developments should easily counter whatever the US military decides to field.
And you assume that the US dollar will be pretty much safe unchanged in its Petrodollar, WRC status by then... will all the "printing fest" :p

frankly I ain't that sure...

Btw, I just realize that Deagel.com already removed its long time "famous", cryptic "2025 forecast" page somewhere within this April after April 15th, after keeping the page for more than a decade to what I know... I have to access the past info thru archive page.

For the most part NATO = US, US = NATO. Looking at the command and control structure, funding and actions of this military block in the past 20 years should make this abundantly clear to anyone that cares to take a closer look.

NATO headquarters is not in Brussels but in Washington DC.

My point still stands China doesn’t even border North America.
