U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai will announce Monday that China is not complying with the so-called phase one trade deal reached under former President Donald Trump’s administration
Oh no,
Anyway..

The announcement will represent some of the the Biden administration’s most forceful pushback against China
China is *shaking* right now. This is a tremendously "forceful pushback" by the US /s

Sources told CNBC that the USTR is evaluating potential actions against China for its non-compliance, including possible additional tariffs.

India is going on it's fake news tirades once again
They claim he is from Pakistan, specifically Punjab but his accent is totally different to how people there talk

It's like an Australian accent and you're trying to pass him off as an American (he isn't even trying to "give" an accent- cause foreigners can't tell apart an accent so this'll work for em)

Couple days ago they said these items were found from a Pakistani based millitant who infiltrated IOK

Now what kind of terrorist infiltrates a region

With Atm card of pakistani based bank

GOP issued Health Card (obviously militants thought they can use it in Indian hospitals to get health coverage)

Old rupee notes that were discontinued in the 90s

Mind you this is not thier media, this is thier army guys peddling this lie

And than ofcourse these random things that makes no sense for a millitant to

At this point they're not even trying and just believe this philosophy

"Tell a lie loud enough and long enough and people will believe it.

That’s one strong assed militant to be carrying 5 AKs, 8 pistols, and a Michael Bay movie worth of explosives. Are they sure they didn’t capture a Fallout 4 arms dealer NPC?

What is causing the shortfall in purchases? I was under the impression that it might be driven by collapse in commodity prices, which would result in lower values even if actual quantities (i.e. pigs, cubic meters of gas, tonnes of soybeans) is still high.

Why are some Indian military folks so bellicose and warmongering hyenas? It seems that the more they get into this new alliances they are developing this misplaced arrogance. Do they really think and believe that their Anglo allies will pick up the tab and fight by their side if they go to war with Pakistan and or China? They even boast that they can take both countries LOL...

If this was some Chinese company doing this, it would be what you said.
All Chinese are unoriginal ripoff artists, etc. etc.
Exactly.
If its an American company amazon caught ripping off, then its "Amazon rips off designs". If Mark walhberg was caught eating dogs, then its "Mark walhberg is a dog eater, what a weirdo."

But, if its a private company in sz ripping off, its "CHINA rips off design". If Xiao Ming was caught eating dogs, its "Chinese are dog eaters"

any actions of a Chinese individual is somehow a representation of the whole nation. You wont see such imbalance and blatant bias when comes to any other country, not even close.
These gross generalisations so that they could brand everything together into one commonly hated group,
this completely intentional refusal to perceive a whole race of people as distinct individuals, is an active and integral part of dehumanization.

Not really. Did their soft power help it solve a single problem of national importance so far?

Did it help them win Afghanistan?

Perhaps it helped in the 2008 financial crisis?

Maybe it's helping them do something beyond rhetoric... Anything... To China?

No? Why not?
Not completely agree, their policies and reach is virtually unhindered abroad, war crimes completely unscrutinised, which also leads to a very carefree economic growth. No sanctions (using pretext of things like human rights despite being the biggest violator), no any form of limitations internationally besides only their own missteps to blame. Business deals, strategic bases is easier to obtain, they are not even signatory of unclos, ICC, the Hague etc.

Now thinking of it, maybe im just confusing it with pure raw hard power. Lmao.

Still, maybe not completely, even if China's power drawfs America today, i still doubt China have an equally easy time dealing with the Anglo "democracies" right now compared to America. But then again, that might be a race thing.

All in all, hard power is everything, but soft power is extremely nice to have.
