Nah not really. Sooner or later the Germans will have to come to terms with the fact that they are a middle power not on the same level as China. It's only a question of time. Might as well be soon instead of long way down the track.
Back when Merkel first came to power she was all gunho on China too, but she eventually calmed down and settled into the current relationship. Green can talk shit now but when they are in charge and actually have to make ends meet they will change their tone given time too.
Bad for Deutschland and the great EU project; indifference or China since the europeans depend more on China's market and RCEP than vice versa.

I don't know why people worry about if anti-China parties win elections in the West. When they put up barriers to China it means they lose money. If it were good for them, they would've done it long ago. The only way the West goes back to the good ole days where they were control of everything is through oppression and human rights violations and stealing other countries' wealth because that's how they got there in the first place. What are the chances of that going to happen when they're scared silly of their homelands being attacked in less than thirty minutes something they never had to fear before but they do now if they push it? If it were true that China would wither away and die without them, then why not break with all relations? Because they know that's not going to happen. It's a bluff. China out bids them for the resources of the world that they need too. Do you think the world wants the West as the only buyer in the world which means the US will dictate prices and be lower than China would pay? Yeah in their fantasies countries around the world would rather sell to the West than China and get less money like Americans threaten war with China believing the world will follow them blindly into it. If everything they believe were that easy, why haven't they already done it? Yeah China will feel some pain but they're going to feel it more. The US is their strongest ally yet Americans need allies to spread the pain around because they can't do it themselves.
