Again, This guy is a typical anti-losing war Japanese...... Please read my comment at #137439 Miscellaneous News

BTW I have found that western (or rather outside of China) "Leftists" always have a particularly rosy view of Japan. They want to believe the majority of Japanese people are good. I can't blame them since Japanese cultural exports are real and powerful. (Myself wanted to learn Japanese because of their stuff like Gundam. But learning more about actual historical and current Japanese ironically made me hate them to my guts......)

But in a just world the people of the world would learn about their terrifying crimes as much as nazis. (Because they are at least as bad as nazis.) and drop this stupid affinity. Can't give it much hope though....... I guess as long as China is doing its own stuff in its own pace, the correct view of the world and history will spread, one day.
I don't follow their political figures, so i don't know who is what. Just sharing this tweet because I was under the impression that such speech is taboo in Japan.

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov writes about this in his Telegram channel. In his opinion, the Chinese still do not have the level of development of Soviet technologies that were implemented when creating a whole range of engines at a Ukrainian enterprise.
Isn't that true to some extent? As in, unless I'm mistaken, China hasn't yet reached the level of Soviet turboshaft engines, particularly the D-136 developed by Ivchenko/Motor-Sich in Soviet Ukraine.

I like how they only said "China not included" but not "US not included" lol
Gotta keep USA at the top, even if datasets require manipulation.

Reminds of the Iran-USN war simulations where USN kept losing because Iranian dingys ladden with explosives kept sinking USN warships. So, they kept skewing the factors in favor of USN to the point where the admiral leading team Iran resigned in protest of the absurdity of the simulation design which had gotten to the point that USN warships would respawn after sinking. Lol. Then USN finally won.

It's not really about collective security per se that pisses China off, but the fact that collective security only triggers in limited specific circumstances, (e.g. only when there is any existential threat to Japan as a result of attack on close partner) It's a huge leap (lie) to conclude Taiwan attack is anywhere an existential threat to Japan, so Sanae saying this is provocative to say the least. It's say "theoretically, we can interpret send JSDF into Taiwan contingency as it threatens the survival of Japan" which is remilitarization mindset that does need to be put in its place.

If conflict with Japan escalates to the point of war, China should strike US to do real damage because Japan is just expendable cannon fodder which the US has a lot of around the world.

Are you assuming US also fighting or US staying out? Cause if stays out, China has no reason to fight them. China would happily destroy Japan while US watches from the sidelines.

If US joins, then Japan is a sideshow and US is the main event. Defeating US is the first order of business.

On a lighter note, butthurt jealous American tech bros are getting ratio’d for talking smack about Chinese robots and getting proven wrong, only to double down harder and reveal the insecure wet rags that they are.

re Japan, the fate of the Jurchen Jin dynasty is in their future for their version of the Jingkang Incident.
addirionally, we can draw a parallel between Takaichi and Tsai ING-wen in being childless cat ladies or adopting their partners children, these women have no blood stake for the future so will happily burn the nation down for immediate current life rewards. The very epitome of globohomo politicians.

‘Collective defence’ pisses China off for two reasons. Firstly, it will only ever be applied so that Japan can join in when their American masters attack China.

Secondly, it inverts reality to paint American and Japanese aggression against China as a defensive act, which is particularly repulsive since that was the same bullshit Japan used to justify its invasion of China nearly a century ago.

China is giving Japan formal notice that any such bullshitary will result in the most serve of consequences for Japan, and it’s repeated reference of post WWII treaties and UN articles is as blunt and explicit a warning as Beijing will ever give that if Japan does involve itself in another war of aggression against China, then China will be going for the full Nuremberg style denazification sanitation of Japanese society that has been overdue for the last 80 years.

I do hope that nothing will come of this diplomatic kerfuffle with a disposable cucked-vassal like Japan......but perhaps this "chicken"needs to be killed in order to scare the "TACO-monkey" if it actually attacks China/kills Chinese but certainly lots of diplomatic angry words and national Chinese rage along with economic boycott-(the usual stuff) but no over /wrong reaction.

China regards the reunification of Taiwan as an internal affair. When and how Taiwan is reunified is solely China's own business, and other countries have no right to interfere.

While China steadily advances its reunification efforts, Japan—the historical root cause of the Taiwan issue—has declared that any Chinese military action against Taiwan would pose a threat to Japan's national security.

This is an obvious hypocritical statement. Its meaning requires no convoluted interpretation, as it implies Japan intends to intervene militarily in the Taiwan issue. Should China launch military operations against Taiwan, the Japanese Self-Defense Forces would “have the right” to attack the PLA, or even organize a US-Japan-South Korea coalition to launch “defensive” strikes. Sanae Takaichi's remarks are, in essence, a military threat to interfere with China's reunification efforts.

Yeah, what a downgrade, these days you better assume anything out of Japan is written by closet (or proud) fascists. There is a joke on Cnet that all the volunteer translators for Japanese shows and animations are the hardest core wolf warriors of wolf warriors you will ever find, LoL.
