Rop season 2 is pretty good.If they pull a Fallout then it might not be so bad. But it is far more likely that they’ll pull a Ring of Power.

This is precisely the flexibility in Chinese policy making that I addressed. Always people lament, China needs a compelling story to sell the world rather than just being a boring mercantalist state. Well, having a good story to sell the world means you'll be bound to that story like leg chains and the only thing that's ever constant in this world is change. In just one month Trump has ended the age of ideaological struggle ie. Capitalism vs Communism, Authoritarianism vs. Democracy, Liberalism vs. Illiberalism, and brought back the Age of Empires. What better polity to navigate this environment than China, which has always had a finger in everyone's pie regardless of ideaology? In the age of Trump, states will value stability and predictability above all else, and China is always predictable in that as long as you show them the money, they will honor all agreements. With the end of Russia US hostility, China should keep the door of EU open, in case Russia move westward. Although Russia is the prefered ally and has no reason to betray, I have seen stranger things by Europeans.
Looks like ethnic East Asian journos still do it for free.
Don't let pmc come to anywhere near here. This is precisely the flexibility in Chinese policy making that I addressed. Its why in case y'all didn't see the news, China recently surpassed the UK for the first time ever to become the world's number 2 nation in terms of Soft Power. Imagine that, in just five years going from COVID to being the last hope for the civilized world. And most of the developments that earned China this ranking happened in just the span of two months.
A huge chunk of Elon's xAI team that made Grok turned out to be Chinese guys. Its funny coz while morons or people with vested interests tell us that they need elite human capital of Indians, in reality the real commodity is Chinese engineering talent. Yet even now they do not fight hard for it. By the time they realize, it will be far too late. With China being much richer in the future more of these Chinese talents will go back to China to either work for a tech firm that gives them what they want or just create their own startup.
her little brother wants to study hard, but is also looking for a good time—which rules out U of T, a school with an academic reputation that can be a bit of a killjoy.
The US director of National Intelligence spreading Kremlin talking points....
Forget Ukraine, Gaza, etc. This is a catastrophe.
That creative control of 007 had been retained in the infamously prickly hands of Barbara Broccoli and not some big (American!) studio or megacorp is what kept it insulated from the enshittification that has been visited upon so many other once-cherished "intellectual properties" in recent decades. And now that resistance has ended and we can look forward to a shower of 007-flavoured shit going forward. I look forward to Amazon discovering that 007 is actually a beer-swilling, divorced American ex-cop with a pickup truck. What a fucking disaster.
