I actually think they will implode. The whole social contract thing was, we tax you a lot but in return you get social services, not like Americans who are left to die.

So now these oligarchs will unilateraly change it to, "look, we are going to keep your taxes high, and probably even increase them even more. In return, we will cut social services/benefits. Art of the deal!"

Wow. This is apparently real. The Telegram says they got it directly from Ukrainian officials so that answers questions about its veracity.

It looks like a medieval levy imposed on a vanquished nation, the only thing missing is the an annual collection of maidens, horses and bushels of wheat.

My only question is, when does the rest of Europe have to sign the same treaty? Europeans need to remember evil Putler and the Chinese are just about to invade and take away all their McDonalds and LGBT parades. Freedom isn't free.

If you believe all that then signing the same deal should be a no brainer.

It it appears as though the Telegraph has swung from supporting Trump to being neutral, but really anti-Trump in the last couple of weeks, how curious.

The Ukrainians will be overjoyed with their deal. No Ukrainian would be unhappy with being an American slave. In their mind they will have achieved the final win over Russia.

Less than a month ago. It was reported that the Japanese were dumping European bonds because they were worth less than Japanese bonds.

Money printing, tax increases, and welfare cuts are all on the table to increase military spending. Hard to imagine the EU can dig themselves out of this hole if the EU-centrist win the election.
