This is a jumbled mess. I put up 3 counter points to you; you didn't argue on any of them except meekly state that, who knows, maybe the US can have a pro-China president one day. This is not a counter-point; this is a blind wish. If you can argue, do it point-to-point like I do.

Agree to disagree is only an intelligent outcome in a stalemate in which neither party can defeat the others' points. Having all your points defeated but still refusing to accept that you are wrong is just being stubborn.
As many smart people as they have, this TikTok ban backfiring is truly a blind cat stumbling into a dead mouse. America made the mistake all by itself and China had the digital hard power to capitalize without doing anything at all to counter or react. Truly highlights the supreme importance of hard power and hard power alone.
It's not a balance. They do not balance each other; "soft power" or the nonviolent extension of hard power, relies on hard power. And as the TikTok refugee episode has shown, active seeking of "soft power" will only backfire but "soft power" will seek you out if you have hard power.
I have argued with all of them to the point where they could not respond. There is no power except hard power and nonviolent extensions of hard power.
Maybe, the condition being that America has been defeated into hopelessness by Chinese hard power (not necessarily military conflict) such that the US resigns itself to playing second fiddle in a Chinese-dominated world. No pro-Chinese US president can arise as long as there is competition for global power between the two.

Daaamnn that's pathetic. I thought the US was supposedly the number 1 superpower in the world. I understand that it can't handle China so it needs more help than its dogs can provide in that area. That was sad and surprising at first to see it basically admit that it's the weaker of the 2 yet still thinks it deserves to win, but we've gotten past that and we're used to the new America that is no longer confident in its own power.
