Essentially, the internal party struggle for power (control of US agencies and organisations) will only intensify, and it's gonna become some 'fun' 4 years for outsiders to watch.

How could Chinese government even get involved in such discussion? It is not even a Chinese company, shouldn't Singapore be involved instead? Also China can and will only approve or disapprove the matter of Bytedance IP and access by US entity to the code. Considerring bloomberg's track record, I would say this is another made-up China defeated fake news.

Bytedance is a Chinese company, their CEO and probably founder have Singaporean citizenship.

This is an example of how the Western media is lazy. Bloomberg comes out with the story about Musk buying TikTok and now FT? And TikTok itself comes out with a statement that TikTok isn't going to be sold so where did FT get their information? Bloomberg who lied in the first place. Also the Western media reports news from their own wishful thinking. This is their power play to throw out suggestions hoping they become true. It's quite clear all circles in the West are envious of what TikTok has become and they wish to control it for themselves.

They should be more focused on making and raising Chinese babies rather than thirsting around for foreigners. It was this generation that make up the chinese females of expat western journalist staff in China, the sell outs and the traitors, the “feminists“ who attack Chinese supposed patriaechy but say and do nothing when it comes to white men harassing and raping Asian women.
