770 dollars is more than enough to cover the loss of property.
Why $770?? That's not even a round number. That's like when a broke mofo's trying to buy something at a yard sale and he empties his pockets of crumpled bills and change like, "I offer.... forty....no,
fifty... three dollars... aaaand twenty.... eight cents... plus one rubber band and a bobby pin."

I don't even know what's the purpose of these dumbf**ks anymore. Are they selling their own noose?
This is spectacular. I don't think China should try to reverse the ban at all. When people signed up for TikTok, at first, it was because they didn't know it was Chinese... then it's because they don't care that it's Chinese. But that's as far as TikTok goes because it tried everything to look
not Chinese in order to be popular in the West. TikTok itself can never spread Chinese culture or influence because of how much it tried to distance itself from China and just be a generic fun app.
But now, American people are specifically looking for Chinese apps, the more CCP sounding the better, like XiaoHongShu, and calling themselves TikTok refugees! They're identifying as a population oppressed by the US government seeking alignment with China, seeking to absorb Chinese culture and to be a part of China's online community, seeking to make pro-China unashamedly mainstream in the US! This was unthinkable before it happened!
I'd actually be really disappointed if the TikTok ban was defeated and this fabulous trend just died down...
