I still think it's more useful to focus on bringing neutral countries into the positive than to bring hostile countries into the neutral. For example bringing Vietnam into the positive in 2024.

Japan is likely doing this because their GDP is falling like a rock. At any time that they perceive they have an advantage they'll likely become hostile again. I don't think that China should be unreasonably hostile to Japan but the problem lies with Japan.

The thing is that it will never happen. China is still increasing its economic lead over US quickly, and Japan isn't even in that race.

If what you and some other say is correct (that Japan will stay friendly until the moment they feel the winds turn in favor of US/themselves), then the Japan problem is actually solved, because there is nothing that projects a potential change in power relations like that.

See I told y'all before it's not that hard of a turn for them, it's just modern day 遣唐使. They did it before so why not again. As Professor Shenyi says: when a Chinese person reads Three Kingdoms they're into Liubei, Caocao, Kongming etc. Do you know who the Japanese are into when they read Three Kingdoms?

So it's just nature. But this is all just preliminary, the real irreversible step is to backstab your foster father when called upon, this would probably still require a more public demonstration of power by China.

Supposedly LiveIsBerger's manifesto.

Has DJI's 6th gen aircraft program gone too far?

"The US has things you don't know about that are decades more advanced than their adversaries." A common line I heard since my childhood days is no longer exclusive to the US, because China also has them too!? Hooray for China! For China is now worthy of freely entering and living in the minds of many a tinfoil hat wearing US citizens and their conspiracy circles, rent free as it should be!
