Uh oh.

As an aside, Biden actually tried to reform H1B early in his term. Few people remember this, but it was quickly dropped because it ran into opposition from the Hispanic and black Congressional caucuses.

There's been this meme that the only people oppossing cheap labour imports are some white hicks from the hinterlands. Meanwhile polls show a strong majority of Americans opposing the program altogether.

We could see weird and unlikely political alliances emerging to torpedo this latest attempt.

A lesson for those who don't understand what a "rules-based order" is:

Manufacturing consent for increased US presence in MENA?
I have to laugh when a former CIA “targeter” warns about “1,000” Al-Qaeda operatives operating on US soil at the same time the CIA/State Department has just succeeded in installing an Al-Qaeda government in Syria.

The police couldn't break through into Yoon's residence as it's guarded by the presidential security service.
If his palace guard is so loyal and hardcore maybe Yoon should've just done the coup with them instead of the army spec op guys!
Sounds like halfhearted effort by the opposition. They could have cut off water and heating had they been serious. However, Yoon has already been regarded by some as the most cowardly ruler in Korea's history.

Good riddance!

China should respond by finding the most annoying Jai Hind on Twitter and appointing him ambassador to the U.S.

The Middle-east and it's layers of intricate and interwoven disparate groups that what was once labeled a bad guy, tomorrow is the good guy, and back to being a bad guy again.

Let those folks sort their issues on their own. However, the reality of our world is never fair nor outsiders don't seek to profit from chaos or seek to control what should not be controlled in the first place.

IIRC this "Stop The Steal" banner is basically Trump's banner during his campaign. Ugh..., whoever is running that joint is just lazy and uncreative; simply copy pasting it makes it so embarrassingly obvious that it just saddens me that this qualifies as an actual effort from the US. Then again, the target of this stunt are Americans. So the out of context English slogan in a sea of Hangul slapped with a Chinese flag checks out. Truly puts in perspective how low the US government thinks of its people and anyone that their news outlets and social media can reach.

I was intrigued about the stop the steal flag, so I took a look. The original image had a bunch of other flags below.
Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Gabon, Cameroon, Ghana, El Salvador
I didn't understand the connection, I assume these are countries which Korean nutjobs think that China somehow stole the election? If anyone know more about this please enlighten me. But talking to more Koreans IRL, I get the sense that a large portions of them genuinely think China is all powerful, have a super smart effective external propaganda machine and can affect Korean elections.

I know 列强竟是我自己 is a funny Chinese meme, but in the eyes of foreigners this meme is mostly true, for better or for worse.

Koreans really think highly of themselves don't they?
In reality China won't even bother fighting them, if they misbehave China can just blow up all their power plants with drones and keep them eternally locked in 18th century as a side quest.
