@coolgod I just finished watching this video presentation from a Chinese-American professor on the Sino-Russia current geopolitical dynamics which is ahistorical normal in normative terms. Professor Yu Bin also mentioned the Westphalian notion look on state to state relationship that may have produced less RELIGIOUS WARS but not necessarily lessen the interstate conflicts unlike that of the Eastern CONFUCIAN model that China supposedly operated with.

I am seeing what you have mentioned that it does seem the current leadership in China is eager to promote Confucianism as it's soft power onto the world scene with great intent.

So they shut the whole narrative down to try & wash their hands of it, because if it ever got out that US institutions essentially used a Chinese proxy to do the research that created COVID, despite knowing of the dangers, they'd get the larger share of the blame.

I think the most confusing part was why there are still prominent politicians bringing this up e.g., Rand Paul and Robert Redfield. If the US was really complicit in creating COVID, this is a accusation with a heavy penalty, I doubt it's just party politics.

This is certainly an impossibility, because China monitors in and out going research, there would never had been an American bioweapons research in China, unless it was a collaboration between both countries. Which is not likely at all.

If you want to be conspirational one can guess that US did release a bioweapon, but China turned it around (the widespread covid variant targeted obese and thrombogenic people much harder, which is the opposite of Asians).

I lean more towards a natural disease where the first known super spreader event was in Wuhan, but it likely started somewhere else first, since it was easy to contain it in China. If there were foul play in bioweapons from either US or China, they can post documents online to expose the other side.

However, if a high level US decision was made to "encourage" people (especially ones working for US regime such as soldiers) known to be sick in a natural seasonal diseases US CDC is incompetent/willfully concealing to travel to a Chinese transport hub during the holidays, there might not be a plausible paper trail for China to leak.
