India is currently facing an extreme water crisis which I think may be irreversible (atleast for a couple decades) which means a massive Indian exodus is likely in the making. Where will they go and how?
What happened between 23-24 (the dip)?
Orientalism (1978), book by Edward Said, sheds a bright light on this phenomenon. Perceptions of Eastern cultures in the Western world are shaded by the ideologies and prejudices of Western imperialism and colonialism.
India is doing in occupied Kashmir what Israel has been doing in Palestine: illegal settlements, occupation, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, etc. Just that Indians are not as effective, and the media coverage is low.
A major reason why Europeans and US back Israel against Palestine is a concept that is often missed. Western countries still have colonies all over the world, occupying native nations and subjecting them to imperialism. Hawaii, Guam, French Polynesia, Marshall Islands, French Guyana, Ceuta, all over the Pacific, Caribbean, and other places. If Palestine breaks free of imperial subjugation, it can have a snowball effect all over the world in these US/Euro occupied lands.
I can already see people dumping Western electronics. The BDS movement to boycott Israeli products appears to be expanding to include Taiwanese, Japanese and Western electronics. Not only exploding devices, but also that stint by Elon to kill-switch Kadyrov's Tesla, have both increased mistrust in Western tech.
Elon could get around this by exporting Teslas that are “responsibly manufactured in Shanghai with 100% Chinese parts under watchful eyes of the SeeSeePee”.
