Something people are not really realising yet is that India is starting to soften its attitude toward China and Chinese investments

A lot of rumours and hints that it's reversing course

It's realised that it can't do without Chinese expertise in technology and manufacturing after the lackluster Make In India initiative
Reminds be of the old Chinese tale about a kind man helping a dying frozen snake only to be killed by its venomous bite once it warmed up. Let's not forget our lessons from the old times.
trump said he will impose 60% tariff on China. Let see if it will dent China's export, GDP and other economic metrics.

If it doesn't and still continue to pose good economic numbers, then I am impressed.
It will be like his first term. He swings wildly trying to hurt China, China goes on the defensive protecting its own industries, retards start saying he's got China trapped unable to return attacks, then the numbers show the US suffered massive recoil and bleed-out damage from reckless attacking while China prevented America's attacks from harming it.

The biggest difference will be that Trump will have revenge against US politicians high on his list this time and there will be huge infighting right from the start. Might only have enough energy left over to give China the middle finger before being dragged back into the bar fight in the pig pen with the Democrats.

I really hope Trump wins but things are not looking so good for him

Didn't look so good for him in 2016 either, in exactly the same fashion. Leftist elite universities were full of parties and people buying celebration cakes for the first female US president on the eve of the 2016 election and we all know how that turned out. If I were Trump's team, I'd bring back that image of him after they shot his ear and work more on that. I can't say that it will end in the same way for sure but the paths between 2016 and now sure look similar.

Too late, China sees through India's ruse.

China Asks Its Carmakers to Keep Key EV Technology at Home

  • Firms encouraged to export knock-down kits, assemble locally
  • India, Turkey mentioned specifically with regard to investment
China’s Ministry of Commerce held a meeting in July with more than a dozen automakers, who were also told they shouldn’t make any auto-related investments in India, the people said asking not to be identified discussing matters that are private, in another attempt to safeguard the know-how of China’s EV industry and mitigate regulatory risks.
During the meeting, MOFCOM noted that the countries inviting Chinese automakers to build factories are usually those enacting or considering trade barriers against Chinese vehicles. Officials told attendees that manufacturers shouldn’t blindly follow trends or believe such calls for investment from foreign governments, according to the people.

You can really feel the whole establishment working against him nowadays, even the Republican party.

Donors want someone from the political class who will continue stable American imperialism and not an outsider like Trump who risks stirring the pot

As they say. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

China better not be the fool this time.

I don't really follow this so I don't know what you mean.

Trump is trying viciously hard fighting for American imperialism. Says he wants to punish all countries that use other currencies than the USD for international trade. Harris is not nearly as aggressive-sounding to someone who loves American imperialism so I don't see this angle either.

That feel when you're not doing anything and someone just forces business into your hands.

Bayraktar said that Rosatom, Russia’s state nuclear energy company, has already struck deals with Chinese companies to produce equivalent parts, though he provided no company names.

“There are alternatives. Rosatom already ordered alternative parts from Chinese [firms], and they will come from China,” Bayraktar said.
