Hey guys, lets each post part of a story, and other members finish it. Be creative. Feel free to add dialogue.

Heres how mine will go: 2008 was a big year for everyone. The Beijing olympics were about to begin, and a new american presidential election was right around the corner.

In the height of the olympics, 23 american atletes are assasinated. No culprit is found, but the bullets found are the type used by the PAP. America points the finger toward China.

Two days later, an american Ep-3 flies over beijing. China points the finger at america.

on november 16, Senator. Mccain is assasinated in his limo. Bullets are confirmed to be the same type used by PLA special forces. U.s points another finger towards china

december that year, a Chinese oil tanker sinks of the straits of luzon. No one knows how the ship sank, but the last ship in the area was an american destoryer. China points another finger at america.

finally, the breaking point comes when a massive explosion rocks the american embassy in China, killing 12 americans and 34 chinese. both sides point the finger. The next day, an American CVBG moves out of pearl harbor and sails towards China in a show of force. Taking this as an attack, the chiense fire several of their new anti-ship ballistic missles at the carrier group.

Ok, but it doesent give any excuses for threndemous posting rallyes ( in ways of some other forums 'three word story' -type of threads)...so remember, I wont tolerate oneliners any way better than usually!!!

Since no one shows interest in finishing my story, ill add another part.

Anyhow, the ballistic missles hit some of their targets. one of the carriers (the george H.W. bush), along with over 100 aircraft)is sunk. One arleigh burke is sunk, and another heaviliy damaged. A ticonderoga also recieves damage.

the remaining 3 carriers in the u.s group, along with their escorts, close in on China. At 3 hundred hours the next day, they launch a massive wave of 200 f-18s towards China. They strike an area near shanghai, which is heavily defended by AAA, SAMs, and two j-11 regiments. After a 20 minues of battle, 26 f-18s and 17 j-11s have been shot down.

Meanwhile, china's newly formed "death mauruder" squadron consisting of su-30's, j-10s, and jh-7as prepare to launch an attack on the CVBG...

Meanwhile, both CIA and Chinese agents have found hard evidences pointing this series attack on olympics, tanker and embassy to Japanese. Japan has been secretivly plan this for a long time and it is his ultimate goal to provoke a war between two countries.

After a frank short briefing between China and U.S, China quickly put a stop to the attack plan on US carrier group, and US. CVBGs start to retreat to GUAM and austrilia.

A series diaplomatic actions then undertake between China, US, Japan and UN security council to solve this problem. However, Japan denies all evidence and rushes all his warships out of its ports for the afraid of punitive military actions from China and US.

China and US withdraw from diaplomatic acitons and start to execute their punishiment operations on Japan. Within 30 minutes, China launches over 300 ballistic and cruise missles target on Japan's military installments. US deliberately deactivated PAC-3 missles in Japan leaving Japan's sky unprotected. The results are devastating, all military command center and airfield were heavily damaged.

US CVBG's groups launch their super hornets carrying harpoons towards Japan's "10-10" fleet. Harpoon versus Aegis, the result is, ..., Harpoon win! One Japan's "10-10" fleet completely destroyed by the massive number of harpoons, all warships sunk to the bottom of pacific.

Seeing no opportunity to win, the rest of three "10-10" fleet quickly surrender to U.S. However, one crazy Japan submarine is able to penetrate one US CVBG and fires four torpedos at Kitty Hawk. Kitty Hawk had three hits, but is still able to keep float and is towed back to GUAM. Of course, the submarine then is sunked soon by a Burke destroyer.

UN quickly reached the conclusion to disarm Japan forever, all five UN security council countries will station an army somewhere in Japan with all expenses paid by Japan.

And two countries, China and United States, live happily ever after, ...

Well netspider, nice ending. I was originally going to blame it on Osama bin laden and al-quada, but the japanese will do just fine.

let me start another round, wish it is interesting to you guys, everyone is free to add your part.

May 2006, Some chinese goverment officers releases a proposal to Japan to "put aside the dispute, let us drill oil together in east sea" (This is true)

June 2006, Japan rejects China's proposal, and insists China must stop his drill activities in the disputed area.

June 2006, China puts a halt to its oil drill in East Sea.

May 2007, for the first time, Chinese geologists release an offcial confirm that they are 100% certain that East Sea has twice the easy accessiable oil reserve as Daqing Oilfield. This certainly make the stake clear to Japan, does it worth a war?

May 14th 2007, China resumes its oil production in East Sea,

Awww...Swimmer, don't be such a killjoy. Not intending any disrespect, but You don't have to close the whole thread.

Ok, here's a good one....

The year is 2008. The PLAN Marine corps has been increased to 42,000 troops. The Varyag is in service. Chin has several 052s and its Navy has increased its ampihibious capability with a helicopter carrier.

In Indonesia, a nation that has become increasingly important to China as oil becomes more and more expensive, the goverment has collapsed. After an extremely hardline Islamic government is elected, the Army splits between a more moderate faction (that soon becomes dominated by rival Generals) and an extremist faction. Christians throughtout the country revolt. Sepratists in Sumatra revolt again, and East Timor occupies several islands to settle old scores. Essentially the nation of Indonesia collapes and ceases to exsist. The US is wrapped up in Iraq, and no one wishes to get involved in another failed state. Australia occupies a few islands, to protect the sea lanes directly around Australia, but the public is wary of getting involved in an Iraq-like situation. The task falls to China. However, China is more suited to the task than anyone else. It doesn't care about spreading democracy. It just needs oil and raw materials. So a PLAN task force with Marines sets sail for Java and Borneo, tasked with restoring order and safeguard Chinese nationals and oil supplies. The entire 48,000 man PLAN Marine Corps is deployed, along with signifigant numbers of Special forces and with regualar PLA and PAP troops to follow if needed.

Take it from there. Lower level, guerilla style conflicts like this are more likely to happen than any PRC vs. USA war. (Now China gets to know what it feels like to be beaten by annoying guerillas. All superpowers have to find out sometime.)

This is about a conflict between China and japan, which is no different from a conflict between china and taiwan or china and zimbabwe. We have not said anything bad about japan.

The japnanese are obviously upset about the drilling. however, in April of that year, China had donated a very generous sun of money to the U.n, for peace keeping purposes. The u.n therefor rejects japan's claim for the island. China further pisses off japan by refusing to crackdown on pirated japnese goods, and getting the russian pipeline redirected closer to china.

In early june, a japanese submarine accidentally mistakes a chiense fishing trawler as a warship and sinks it. China wishes to declare war, but knows war with japan will be costly. instead, decides to send in the spec-ops...
