Re: Malaysia Airlines Plane is Missing
But the fact is, by now it's no longer SAR op, in reality a salvage mission...unless the flight got sucked into a wormhole or something, they will eventually find its remains.
Eventhough Malaysia would look like a Taliban regime when compare with Singapore (which is pretty conservative as it is by western standards that we're accustom to), we should be fair to remember that Malaysia is by far the most secular of Muslim states in today's world - that is, non-Malay / non-Muslim Malaysians might get the "turn one's nose up" treatment, but churches and temples don't get attacked like other places. Still, despite crackdowns on AQ-affiliated groups for so many years, there's probably a small radical cell remains operational in Malaysia, or at the very least use it as a launchpad because Malaysia isn't flagged as high-risk location.
This is more of a salvage ship.

Everyone ought to keep in mind that Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim nation that practices apartheid policies against Chinese and Indians. Occasionally, some of them still make threats of violence against the minorities. It does not take much to figure where their sympathy lies.
