A lot of it is propaganda. Shoigu was supposed to be ill and Gerasimov to have had his legs blown off if you believe the propaganda.
One of the Russian generals the Ukrainians claimed they killed was later seen doing a hand shake with Kadyrov in Mariupol as well.
And then you have the ship captain of the Moskva. Who also supposedly should have been dead.

I have little doubt the Ukrainians have killed Russian officers and some of the deaths have been announced even.
One was in the Russian marines and got killed in Mariupol for example.

I wonder how PLA senior officers are seeing the deaths of Russian generals. Will PLA be able to deter US from giving TW intelligence

So many things have to have gone wrong for China before that even becomes applicable, there's not even a point in comparing them. The difference between the PLA and the ROC armed forces is so great, the ROC officers wouldn't even know what to do with information on where PLA officers are and would only be interested in knowing escape routes. After another few hours, the US shouldn't even have people on the receiving end of any information they want to give.

Another thing to note is that Ukraine claiming all these high ranking officer kills (idk how many is true or fake) are occurring in one place. The Front Lines.

So unless China intends to land generals and colonels onto the beaches then they aren’t going to be in harms way. Taiwan isn’t going to launch some missiles to kill a couple generals who can be replaced with the next person in line.

How often do we see Western Generals on the frontlines?

Considering the status of Russian SIGINT and EW, I doubt if there’re any similarities between China and Russia…

afaik, the vulnerability of PLA C3 system(if any) might be more about cyber rather than traditional electromagnetic. In fact China is the leader of many SIGINT/EW fields.

Preparing for the worst case is always a smart move. I'm not sure the ROC military does any exercises where they have to deal with getting demolished systematically and have to adapt their battle plans accordingly.
Yes, but like I said, the chance of them needing to treat lots of roc soldiers aren't low.

Don’t know about all the exercises but Hanguang is political. If the results appear to tilt against the ROC side variables are immediately revised so that the PLA is defeated. I don’t recall a single instance where the OPFOR managed to gain an advantage.
