Then India is as shady as it is incompetent. Good job maximizing Indian casualties, especially from friendly fire while China actually maximizes its territory, growth and development.

Then India purposefully used T-90 because they knew they could win even with a handicap?
I don't really see the necessity of finger finger game. India already has a maximized it's territory to arunachal. I guess China has to take both sikkim & arunachal.
Funny thing is, if you lose arunachal tomorrow you will say it's mountainous & was claimed by China all along. So India actually occupied Chinese territory for long enough, correct ?

India's defence ministry says it won't accept 1959 line and will continue to claim LAC is at Finger 8 just like China will continue to claim LAC is at Finger 2.
Sorry I can't find in the text where it says it does not recognize the 1959 LAC. Can you help out? All I can read is about Finger 4, Finger 8, which has been the same point that Indian Minister of Defense Singh have been belaboring. Of course, India continues to claims Aksai Chin which is under Chinese control. We're not talking about officially settling the borders here. We're talking about a solution to the conflict.
Clrarly mentions taht as per India LAC runs through Finger 8 whereas 1959 LAC line runs through Finger 2 and also stating that even in current understanding India will maintain right to patrol upto Finger 2.
We only learned it after the exercises when Russians informed us about it when we asked their analysis to review the reasons for breakdown and also stated why they themselves don't use them.
No it doesn't. It says India has thus far maintained the right to patrol up to finger 8, but as per the agreement, will now retreat to the permanent base at finger 3, while China will retreat to finger 8. This of course enforces respect for the LAC which is between finger 3 and finger 8.
I also don't know where finger 2 came from but from China's perspective the LAC is at finger 4.

With some regret, I'm posting Indian news
1. Indian posts moved from finger 4 to finger 3.
2. India has vacated the two hills it "captured" south of Pangong Tso.
3. No patrol zone, for the time being in between finger 3 and Finger 8.
So, all the work done in the past two years by the two countries has been reversed.
