Of course they mad... the satellite images shows and proves that China or PLA or their contractors, which ever you prefer to use... can construct more in one year, in the middle of nowhere and at the height of 4,653 meters above sea level, than the Indians can at ‘normal sea level’ with their industrial base right in view of a particular construction site.
But what I particularly find telling with the entire article is the last 2 paragraphs! That seems to be the only thing they are actually concerned about... I mean just like the Doklam incident why didn’t the all powerful Indian army go to intercept these ‘illegal’ constructions... it’s not like they needed Bhutanese approval or agreement in 2017...
Implications for India
Bhutan had rejected reports of the Chinese having established villages inside Bhutanese territory in Doklam. "There is no Chinese village inside Bhutan," Bhutan's envoy to India, Maj Gen Vetsop Namgyel, had told India Today.
The Siliguri Corridor, with these road and village constructions, has become closer for China through occupied Tibet and now Bhutan. This threatens India strategically with the AH2 road, now barely 70km at Siliguri's eastern bypass or at Jalpaiguri bridges.
