I mean they deployed their Mig 29k's in Ladakh.

They need clothing and shelter for the army, not wasting money by stationing their friggin navy in the middle of the Himalayas.
Well at least they can use the jet exhaust as a heater for emergencies...

Jokes aside tho shouldn’t the Air Force be the ones developing and the navy be preparing for and training for their stupid and doomed grand plan of blockading the Malacca straits...

Kerala has long been a bit more politically distant from the blundering idiots of the north. It isn't just ethnically and politically quite different from the north but also in theology. India's west, Punjab region, has its own distinct identify as well - Sikhism. Also a higher density of Indian Muslims New Delhi is also relatively north west. Its extreme north and north east is either sparsely populated or Bengali and Nepalese/Chinki looking people lol (to use Hindu nationalist lingo).

Hindu nationalists are everywhere though but India truly is a geographic expression with Indian national unity in truth far more delicate than PRC's. Mishandling of Covid, rapid poverty, lack of industrial and economic development (has been the case since independence), and not addressing the many existing and looming environmental andd social issues that have caused various sorts of mass protesting and rioting for several years. None of that helps the case for Modi and his attempts to superglue the country together.

Indian leaders have long attempted to bolster their national unity with so much division and separate identities involved (much like China's) using the same strategies used by the early CCP. The CCP however had civil war and Japanese invasion to build a foundation of support from. Nowadays they have good economic and social management that's won the support of the vast majority of Chinese people. With India it has no main antagonist/s and even China isn't truly considered one as long as no actual war happens. It hasn't got the wealth or development and the little they have is in the pockets of just a few families. Quite unlike China despite attempts by propaganda to make people believe otherwise... Schrodinger's China where Chinese are simultaneously all suffering from extreme poverty and starvation but there are also WAY TOO MANY Chinese students and tourists and citizens who are buying up Australian farms, properties, and land. LOL.
