Err... not sure if you have some kind of deficiencies but obviously it wasn’t serious... The question itself was obviously rhetorical... no military, even the Indians would do something so stupid... at least I hope that is the case.

Additionally, on a serious note from the conduct of the Indian media and official statements even if they were so stupid and lose troops, they will spin it into a win one way or another, whilst what kind of a shit-storm do you think will happen in India if they recalled troops whilst the PLA is staying put at the border. From the way things have happened so far my, admittedly, poor excuse of a joke could very well happen.

The soldier was posted in Leh with the Jat Regiment of the Indian Army and had come home on leave for a month on November 13.

Let us be honest here ... India has a smaller chance of capturing Lhasa than China does of capturing the entirety of India, all the way down to Kerala.

Who on this planet would even consider taking care of all the Indians afterwards? The Brits gave up. I don't think anyone would try to colonize India for this reason alone.

I would say that, that is debatable but definitely not in the current numbers, it would take decades of work just to build the resources to feed all the people... they are facing all the problems China was facing around the time of TCR and maybe even more...

That’s pretty bad... I mean... it’s not like any of India’s neighbours are in a position or are inclined to take these people in... perhaps instead of spending all this money on weapons procurement they should focus on building and running desalination plants for the short term while solving the problem long term... tho I doubt the Indian gov is even interested in solving the problem...

If masses of refugees starts moving... they could create a literal human wave tactic just so they can get water to live... that’s really sad...
