I just don't think they felt embarrassed if microwave was used against them. Because they could level new accusations against China.
I agree that Indian army/media won't be embarrassed about microwave being used against them unless it happened together with something else that would be embarrassing. Something like losing their footholds on the ridge lines south of Pangong Tso that they made a huge deal about capturing and was basically the only "victory" they've had during this whole conflict.
This is what Professor Jin is claiming, that the PLA was able to retake these points on the ridge lines without firing a shot by using microwave weapons to chase off the Indian soldiers. Are there recent satellite photos of the area south of Pangong Tso? Do we have any confirmation that these points have been retaken by the PLA?
