Looks like China has finally beaten India at its own game — creating BS news.

Maybe China's MOAB is better than Russia's FOAB. But having two options is better than one. Moreover, the technology that creates FOAB is very special, China can use it as a platform to develop more advanced weapons. At present, the relationship between the two countries is very good and China is not short of money, buying FOAB with TOT is a good business.
Yes I've heard of this too. I haven't been able to find any solid source on it. So it depends on how much you want to trust 金政委. Previously he was on the money when he talked about DF-19 ahead of the 2019 military parade, but he's also been wrong on stuff.
Chinese MOAB uses metallic nitrogen, it's the purest form of conventional explosives since nothing is wastedThese thermobaric weapons are all pretty similar are they not? China invented an entirely new explosive (I recall being either the third explosives type ever invented) with the first explosives type being gunpowder, followed by dynamite (Nobel) which all modern explosives are based on including plastic explosives. Recall reading this third new explosive has been applied to the Chinese super bomb or " descendent of all bombs". Could be wrong though and confusing myself because it is also a thermobaric weapon so probably acts upon totally different principles but the news came out around the same time many years ago.
Anyway Chinese super bomb can probably be scaled up and down so no point buying something relatively basic. There's literally no point actually. I remember reading the disclosure made it appear that the Chinese bomb can be scaled up to deliver more energy than the Russian version which is already more potent (allegedly) than the American MOAB. It's all a matter of size and weight for delivery and so they made it fit on the H-6.
Even National Interest reported on it eventually.
Just a decade more and India will be issuing the same statements but in the context of Indian Ocean.
