Many have been circulating on various social networks about ~700K people died in Wuhan during the height of the pandemic. Sadly many people seem to believe this number. A simple math will tell you that's impossible. Let's ignore any numbers coming out of China for the moment. In the rest of the world, the fatality is ~4-5%. If 700k people died, that means ~17,500,000 people got infected. That's 17.5 million. What's the total population of Wuhan? 15 million? So the entire city of Wuhan, including every single person living in Wuhan plus another 2 million phantom with unknown origin, got infected? Simply insane!
Actually after decades of misguided propaganda. Many of the people all around still think that China is as backward as it was in the final years of the Qing dynasty. And if that is the case, in the mind of these so call believers think that China's death rate is way more than 4 percent. So that figure held itself.
Well, don't worry, that number will change. As the total number of infected in the US top 10 million and growing much faster now (as well as Europe which is growing even faster than the US), I believe in a couple of month, they will say that 100 million Chinese people were infected, and more than 4 million dead. And by summer next year, I am pretty sure that number will rise to 400 million infected and 16 million dead. And very likely, it will keep on growing to make Chinese look worse than the West (and India). But the end of 2021, I believe that they number will exceed the total population of China, lol. That' will be a good slap in the face for these fools.

Funny that India didn't boycott the SCO meeting recently. Maybe because all heads of states are present. And if Modi is a no-show would be crossing a line.
Modi predictably 'warned' Pakistan and China, without naming them about bringing bilateral up issues to the SCO meeting. Then off course Russia supports that position. Duh! Who wants to have a shouting match at an SCO meeting anyway? There are more important things to discuss.
Nevertheless. Indian media can't help but twist this as a 'Russia chooses India' BS. Well India should mind its place in the SCO. It is the only member who is actively working as the spoiler in the SCO. Non of the other members are in the Quad. And the boycotts on RCEP, BRI, and Kavkaz is not helping India-SCO relations either. I kinda hoped that India would boycott this SCO meeting, and get itself kicked out for once. But alas Modi still doesn't have the balls to showoff India's colors to Putin and Xi.
