Obviously Gwan Yu was not killed.
How else can you explain 20 deaths of soldiers including a Colonel without firearms?
But India just got a legendary win by only lossing 20 soldiers to mostly drowning by killing 53 generals. Only killing more legendary generals will make the win even more legendary.. lol.

Maybe next time the casualty list will include Luke Skywalker and Legolas.

Indians have also been giving descriptions of the savagery weapons wielded by the PLA, especially the wooden sticks wrapped with metal wires. Is it ferocious? Yes, it is. However, as the opposing military who is surely about to face the business ends of these weapons, what did the Indian military/government do? Apparently nothing, according to the Indian media and military. They didn't complain about it to the PLA officials. They could file formal complaints to the PLA... "Hey! Your boys are wielding some terrifying-looking stuff. You better tell your boys to leave those sticks at home since we are trying to avoid bodily injury!". If unsuccessful, they could upgrade defense gears for their troops for better protection, and/or upgrade their weapons to a similarly terrifying level. Apparently, the Indians did nothing, which resulted in an absolute disaster when their boys were ambushed by PLA troops wielding terrifying weapons. They also complain about the PLA troops all wearing anti-riot gear. Yes, the PLA wants to make sure their boys are well-protected. What has the Indian military done to protect their boys, while knowing that the PLA is wielding those terrifying sticks? Nothing!

Again, as I said before, the Indian military has failed as an organization since they have failed to do anything to protect their boys and/or giving their boys the tools/equipment necessary to defend themselves and/or win a conflict. And now, they are complaining about how well-armed and well-protected the PLA is?

A few observations. The Indians lost some higher ranking officers, a colonel killed and a Brigadier general being captured, beaten, released, captured again, beaten again and released again... The colonel was a regimen commander. The fact that he was killed suggests that the combat order of his > 1000 troops had completely collapsed when he was exposed to lethal danger. Similarly with the brigadier general. When such high ranking officers are directly exposed to bodily harm, that suggests absolute disaster for their troops.

The Indian media and military have been complaining about their boys being unarmed and savagely ambushed by the PLA. Let's forget about whether this is fake news or not. Let's assume this is true. Two opposing militaries are camped next to each other and have been going through some serious conflicts and struggles for months. No one can deny the tense situation in the region and the emotions of the soldiers of both sides. In this kind of tense situation, how can any professional military allow themselves be ambushed??? Where is your guard? Where is your security perimeter? So everyone simply goes to bed at night, without setting any security at the camp site? How can any professional soldier be caught unarmed when your camp site is so close to your enemy? We know that the Indians carry batons and shields during patrols. So they have weapons. Why were they caught unarmed?

It has been so puzzling to me that the Indians are now describing the situation as how their innocent boys had been slaughtered. It would make sense if they have sent untrained civilians, women, kids, seniors, etc. However, this was their professional military. Even more, this was supposed to be their most elite mountainous troops. Elite soldiers of all nations in the history of mankind have always been described as some of the most ferocious predators, lions, tigers, wolves, etc. Attacking their opponents with no mercy. How can the Indians now describe their most elite troops as a whole bunch of innocent sheep caught unprepared and unable to fight back???

About ambushes. Some of the most ferocious predators are ambush predators, like tigers. Some of the most elite soldiers in the world rely heavily on stealth and ambush their enemies, like Ninja and the US Navy SEALs. Ambush is a highly effective and widely used combat tactic in military conflicts throughout the world. The SEAL Team 6 ambushed Bin Laden a few years in a surprise attack and killed everyone on site. So if the Indian troops were really ambushed by the PLA, they had lost a true military conflict, been outmatched by their opponents using a superior tactic, and failed as a military unit. Instead of crying out for how savage the PLA was, they should apologize to the Indian people for losing a military conflict, explain to the Indian taxpayers how their most elite troops failed at the very moment when their training was most needed.

Here is the story about that battle from Reuters. If anyone read news then they know that AP News and Reuters are the most trusted news organizations in the world.

Who is Huang guozhi? Some guy that writes for a megazine? The article is by an Indian author, so probably also 90 % bs again.
To be honest Indian mountain forces should be very proficient, considering their many conflicts against Pakistan and constant need to counter China. Ordinary troops simply cannot operate on the Himalayans ...
